I just watched a bunch of your fig tasting videos. You do a great job at describing tastes and keeping videos concise, fun, and informative. I'm hoping to get first year fruits from my own Campaniere and Figoin so it was nice to see that you enjoyed yours. RdB is a stellar fig most years for me (western PA). It's my #1 overall fig (based on taste, productivity, and performance) so far among the 35 or so varieties I have. In lots of rain and humidity they aren't as great as they can split a lot but they can still ripen a bit afterwards and taste fairly good underripe. RLBV is a great fig as well. I hope that one improves for you this year. If you like cherry flavors in your figs then I highly recommend Hative d'Argenteuil. It's early/mid season ripening, uniquely tasty, and doesn't split in rainy or humid weather.
