Thank you for the great video!
Thankyou for brightening my holiday. Got to try this. My mother made horn cookies which had walnuts n dates it was a sour cream dough n sprinkled with powder sugar. Miss her n her cookies cause I just can’t find the same recipe n unfortunately her recipes we’re not shared n now too late.
Got to finish up the last batch of filling tonight from X-Mas. We use 1/2 figs, and 1/2 candied fruit with citron, orange peel ect. or the fruit-cake mix in the tub at the store with a combo of everything. Also we add dates to the mix too. Combo of Grand Marnier, and Frangelico liqueurs, and we only use toasted Hazelnuts. Chocolate syrup, and semisweet chocolate chips in the filling too. Years ago, we would take turns grinding it thru an old hand-crank meat grinder with the large-die on the front, which would constantly jam-up. The food processor makes it so easy!
Hi beauties! I’m here Enjoying Nona di Fresca and you making these cucidati ! It’s a big job, but so worth it. My aunt and I cheat, we use the cuisinart processor. We use the figs and raisins, add in an orange with the zest and all, an apple 🍎. The juice from the orange 🍊 adds the juice but this year I’m going to soak overnight in rum. That is a wonderful idea! Thank you 🙏 for all your videos they are awesome. Great recipes. Gratzie Mille 🥰😍💕💕💕💕💕🙌🏼
Semplicemente Mitica Nonna Rosada !!!
What wonderful pair of ladies, that can produce such marvelous taste. These cookies are so expensive, I would like to try to bake my own. Thanks for a great cooking lesson.

Glad you liked the video!! 😘 Thank you for watching!!
Loved this. Something I regret often is that I didn't ask my nonna for her recipes --- and how I wish I'd been there at least once to see her make toralli. I learned my lesson and had my mom teach me to make strufolli!

I don't have dried figs. Is there a way to use fresh figs?

You can't really use fresh figs for this as they would be too juicy. But you can substitute with other dried fruits like dates and prunes

Atochabsh I used fresh figs but added other dried fruits like rasins and apricots. You can also add a bit of almond flour to the fruit.
Too funny, trying to get Nonna to say, "please subscribe to the KZread Channel" Her version, "Please Subscribe to the Two Boob Channel"
Does your Nonna want to get Married. Its O.K. that we sleep in different bedrooms as long as she cooks for Christmas and easter. I can sleep when she cooks and bakes
Sticky fingers!!
Oh n also had graham crackers in the mix not the dough
I am Sicilian and I thought she was very rude
*WTF..!??.....It's "Bucceddatu" not "Cucciddati" !*
