The last drift that Tiff pulled off in the RS4 was beautiful! I didn't think that car would drift even that much.

Two fantastic cars to this day. You wouldn't be disappointed with either...

In real world road conditions there is no time or space for drifting and antics!!! You need a rock solid car with mechanical grip, stability, grunt.... a car that gives you confidence!!!!! Most definitely not the BMW M3!!!!!

Both cars still looks great today, even if they are stretched on screen.

Happy to say I have owned both these brilliant cars and just picked up another b7 rs4 avant less than 10 hours ago

They feel slow now, great drive, but slow. The B7 RS4 is still a fast car.

Tiff and Jason are such great drivers, if there’s anyone you should trust reviewing a car’s dynamics it’s these two

Well, the E46 M3 GTR had a V8 so I think that's where BMW got the idea to make the E92 M3 a V8.

That's the e46. Watch the review when they compare the e90 M3, Audi RS4 and the C63. They all agree the M3 is the better car.

I was lucky enough to own both cars at the same time When I wanted to drive I would always take the keys of the M3 - Even though it was SMG it was more fun The RS4 is the one I would buy again however. Such a great all around car. Perfect size too. They both still look epic.

Now try to do this on a dry track. Different results for sure! BMW M3 E46 is the best specs from all the cars together in one. The only problem with this car is the brakes. You change them and you have the best car overall..

a4 b6/b7 - 2000-2007 E46 - 1998-2005 E90 - 2005-2013 A4 B8 - 2007-2015. Everything is ok, dont compare E90 with old B6 from 2000.

I’d only pick the Audi because of the AWD for my weather here in Pennsylvania and the necessary four doors for the kids. I love the crackin V8 for sure but if it was just a car for me I’d take the M3 E46 all day

I've always been a fan since I owned a '68 2000 ti in Germany. However, I remember reading somewhere that 80% of drivers think they're better than average (50%), which makes me think I just may not be as good a driver as I think I am, and the Audi is going to make me look better, 100% of the time.

They are the stock wheels actually. Available only during the first year of production I think. Very few cars have them.

M3 v8 wasn't available in 2006 (when this video was shot) hence it was tested against the later e46 model which was just being fazed out... Audi seem to bring out a newer model rs4 than the bmw m3 by around 18 months or so, with merc a little later bmw...

Put those BBS rims on a E60 M5

Comparing audi with 4 door agains bmw 2 doors is not a good comparation.

There not..., these were actually the 18s offered as standard in the veryyyy early cars @ no added cost although 99.9% of buyers choose the upgraded 19s @ cost. Hence they stopped the 18s in i believe mid 06 vehicles...

CS is a great car. Didn’t have the reduced weight, carbon airbox and extra CSL power but had the same steering rack and cane with the option of a manual gearbox.

And the M3 saloon didn't come out until 2007.

napraznicul lmao low profile tyres give less flex on the sidewall, and are usually faster with road tyres, hence why the new civic type r which is the fastest fwd production car around the Nurburgring, has 20” wheels from factory, you are welcome for the knowledge.

The m3 looks better to my eyes

It's a pity that such a ridiculous test as the drift attempts here spoil the entire video. Sure, driftong and powersliding are fun but absolutely useless for potential buyers. Unless you get the car for a drift competition or fooling around at low speeds on snow, there is no use in such tests. 99.9% of buyers of these cars do not have the skills to drift on public roads. Note that even the pros here spin on a wide track. Something which one cannot afford doing on a regularly narrow road.

Because someone prefers Audi's appearence, quality and solutions more then those in BMW. For example Audi makes nicer avants than BMW, somebody that live in mountains will always get some quattro rather than xDrive BMW. I drove and I used to sit in both E46 and B6/7 Audi, I more preffer seating position in Audi, interior in B6/7 looks more massive, more fresh, gauge clusters look more inovative in every Audi and also in B6. E46 feels massive and hard on steereng but B6 looks even more massive and harder...I do not personally like B6 look but BMW looks even more outdated

He has nothing to do with dragrace :))).. both hands on steering wheel at dragrace @400bhp manual transmission is.. pathetic :)).. his shifting takes more than half of second.. really as good as my grand-grandmother :))))
