problem with this fifa was that it was the transition from “classic” to “modern” fifa. only thing it brought was draft which very quickly became stale. fifa 17 was champs, 18 was squad battles and icons. even tho fifa 15 was technically more boring cause it has less to do we all still enjoyed it until the very end

I remember my QPR career When I get myself to Prem via Play off 94th minute equaliser In second season I save us after awfull autumn when we were 10 points from 19th team And the man the myth the legend Goretzka on loan save us with 17 goals since January and we won FA cup Season 5 we won Prem and UCL with Goretzka as a Captain Best save ever ❤️

Unpopular opinion: this was the best fifa soundtrack

I have fond memories of 16 purely because i didnt get another fifa until 18 (which i got 6 months after release) so i was playing 16 for like 3 years and there was something about it that I just vibed with. It was the first game i started doing RTGs and getting really into career mode and i remember taking burnley to an unbeaten europa league title 😅

I played 16 all the way until 2021 where my disc finally gave up. Still plays better than the last 4 fifas, but I’ll admit 18 took its place until that broke too

The good old times when I didn't play Ultimate Team! I just played offline against AI or my friends!

FIFA 16 is a weird one, I didn't play it as often as other games but the soundtrack for some reason is legendary. Whilst I remember the gameplay being kinda boring because shooting was made harder than FIFA 15. To be honest I have more memories of the 15/16 football season, the soundtrack, playing a FUT draft simulator app on mobile and playing FIFA 16 MOBILE, which was the best FIFA mobile we ever had.

I play fifa 16 ps3. And still going strong. Lots of players...still smoother than most modern games...

This was the first fifa where I played an online match against a friend as I was able to get xbox live gold at the end of 2015 after over a year of wanting to. I remember in that match being 3-0 down and scoring from a third of the way up the pitch out on the wing w/ a non rare bronze, and then connection between us cut out. Imo this is the fifa w/ the best soundtrack, so stacked w/ amazing songs that I continue to listen to today (if only the official playlist on spotify had no songs missing and there weren't regional restrictions on being able to listen to certain songs). Meanwhile outside of fifa, 2016 went on to be the best year of my life so far and I remember how amazing it was to witness the 2015/16 season and euro 2016. Also at school I'd take part in some overnight stays at the school sometimes where we did various activities, I remember doing so much stuff w/ the fifa 16 content on futwiz in my free time back then. The nostalgia this video gave me was absolutely beautiful.

FIFA 16 was the first FIFA I played so it’ll definitely have a special place in my heart. I still remember all the career mode KZreadrs I watched (MGH’s Portsmouth RTG, SCG’s QPR Save, heck even Masterbuck’s “I died in Career Mode” video). Take me back man

This was my first fifa when I got my xbox. Loved the sound track and still listen it on spotify. Got me into career mode

For me one of my favourite FIFA’s cos of soundtrack which is underrated and the offline gameplay in career modes was good

Fifa 16 was my first Fifa i owned. I played Fifa 15 only when i was with my best friend. My Special Memory on Fifa 16 is the Tots Sane Cup whyle Bundesliga Tots. After many tries, i finally did it to win this 83 Rated Sane Tots

Packing Messi was my golden moment Fifa 16. I was streaming to 2 people in a party with my friend and it was the craziest shit to all of us haha

The soundtrack is basically what made it somewhat decent

Thing I remember from this game is the chemistry glitch. Does anyone remember that? It was in June I think and every card that was released after the launch date wasn't affected by chemistry. All tots, motor, informs etc. Using a team full of fullback for a week was the most fun I've ever had.

This is the FIFA I’ve been playing. I enjoy it. Watford is my team. Can’t wait to play the next games 😂

Fifa 16 was my 'real' fifa game. I got Fifa 11 on my Nintendo DSi and Fifa 12-15 on my iPad so I love Fifa 16. I especially remember the amazing soundtrack and my FC Copenhagen in the Premier League save

Didn’t play this fifa much only memory I have of this one is winning the champions league with Bury FC

Fifa 16 was actually the first fifa i ever played so it will always hold a weird but long standing place in my heart

Fifa 16 was the first fifa I actually played daily and thats when I started playing ultimate team

This was my last fifa that I really enjoyed playing fut in every game afterwards got sweaty the only stupidly sweaty mode in this game was online draft in my opinion . I also love how your teams stadium was in the background and the soundtrack just hits me hard with the nostalgia . Most people say this game is forgettable and bad but it does have its qualities compared to new fifa games its gonna be sad for me when the servers go offline probably the end of the year although I have a feeling ea might shut fifa 17 aswell .

Back to a Fifa when tackling was actually a thing & we had the catalogue shop. I actually missed the shop. It made the game so grindable & something to reward you for your time played. Also I think the ignite engine they used for this was better than the frostbite engine. I think it maybe a forgettable Fifa but it didn’t give me as much headaches as the latest FIFA’s do

I remember playing fifa 16 at my cousins house and waiting for that 1 time in the month when we would go to his. Yeah he did batter me every time it’s still so nostalgic 🙂

This was the best Fifa for me. Passing was hard if you didn't plan every pass well, game was responsive, several ways of attacking. In this game, you could succeed with the slow, tall and strong players too, not just small, fast and agile players like now.

The gameplay still held up and is better than todays. Felt a bit slower or faster sometimes But it was grounded well

This was my first game with the Xbox one in 2015, gameplay wasn’t amazing but the soundtrack was top tier and nostalgic looking back on it.

This was my first FIFA (that I owned) Lots of good memories, but definitely ran through everything pretty quickly though.

Once EA moved to frostbite on fifa 17 it has always felt stale and soulless

I agree that 16 is pretty forgettable but few things i love about it is the pack animation being exciting, at least to me it was the best animation in fifa history. I also remember just demolishing people on fut with my cousin and we having Uche on top.

I really loved FIFA09. Fifa 13 was also amazing, André Ayew had the same potential as Eden Hazard at 94 or something xD

Played this game alot as I was 12 but I dunno it wasnt bad but it wasnt great soundtrack was elite tho overall I thought it was fine then and compared to what weve had since fifa 18 I'd gladly rather go back to those days

Hate to say it, but EA removed it. I had to go out and buy physical copies of 16 and 17 for the new Xbox and they cost me $2
