Fiesta ST Throttle Body Cleaning
Weather was really nice so I decided to tackle the small job of cleaning my throttle body on my Fiesta ST.
Although it didn't fix the Idling/hunting issues, it narrows down what might actually be the issue! Got some good footage from my GoPro though.
Let me know if you think you know what the issue might be.

I already change the pcv hose and it continues to accelerate what will it be ???
...anyone knows the torque specs for bolts on throttle body? Thanks US Ford Fiesta 2011 SE
Was it the PCV valve?
GOOD VID IAM GOING TO GIVE IT A GO THIS WEEKEND 🇬🇧
I had a fez st mk6 and I sold it to get a focus st 2.5. biggest mistake I ever made.
Did you fix this problem? As my revs are sticking only sometimes bad this morning she started few times harder to sounds like bit too much air or something like that.
That problem solves when you connect a hose that goes from the camshaft cover to the air intake( between the throttle body and the air filter) I think the problem is due to vacuum issue, if you have a look at how is mounted the mountune air intake kit you will see the thin hose that I'm talking about. Try it out
This has been on my mind to do this.. thinking of just cleaning and reoiling the K&N instead.. there was an idle problem and Ford had a ecu update for the problem.
Pcv valve or pipe
Do you have a link for the red rings from the dashboard ? Thanks
Good video. What phone holder are you using?
Mind me asking what exhaust you have?
I have the same problem mate, it happens when my engine gets hot. It dives different and looses power. Did you find the problem in the end.
Did you ever sort your idle issue? I sorted mine as was doing my head in. Things I did after throttle body cleaning didnt resolve it:
What's the track you are playing. Sweet AF😎😎
Hi mate what have you got over your side repeaters?
I think its the air pipe coming out of the front of the engine below the inlet manifold. see this thread
Have you had am ECU / PCM update done?. I have heard its a known fault on these. The update from Fords will fix this.
Man I must start by saying you have got a mean & pretty machine! and is it still safe to clean the Throtle body without moving it off?
I would be more worried about the 1 grand idle rev
