With you increasing the power now it maybe good to check and replace if necessary the cam bucket as these wear quicker when pushing for more power. But a good video again and be good to see it with all the other goodies added.

Pumaspeed need to clean up their workshop and have a bit of a makeover, looks a bit of a state. This vid has put me right off ever using them just due to the state of the place and I was tempted as I like their website

minty minty as a mechanic myself I would expect it to not necessarily be clean and polished but tidy and professional looking. If I turn up to a garage in that state first thing that springs to mind is if bits are thrown all over the place like that instead of being neatly placed in an organised manner are my cars parts also going to be thrown about and shoved in a heap on the floor. Most garages belonging to mechanics I know do not look like this, even dirty they are still organised and tidiness is reflective of how professional your business is seen. This is why dealers are so clean and polished generally.

  • @Clicksystems

minty minty well it’s true, do you think they could charge £100+ an hour without being that way? I have nothing personally against pumaspeed, I’ve purchased from them and my customers have purchased from them. But if I was a new customer who had never used them before, never had a word of mouth recommendation then that’s how many customers would be, walk in, walk out. Because if you didn’t know any better from prior experience or word of mouth seeing all that stuff chucked on the floor you would assume when your car gets pulled apart, your pride and joy it’s parts are also going to get thrown on the floor in a heap. Only reason they are successful is word of mouth, so they don’t need to worry so much about first impressions as people go to them already knowing them. But if somebody went there without that first impressions count as it’s all somebody has to go on. No workshop should look like that, I know many do, but health and safety would also not be happy about it. I’m no hair stylist, but what’s your issue with them? I assume you don’t cut your own hair and visit a hairdresser like most people would? Might want to reconsider mocking hair stylists when you most likely go to a hair dresser for your hair cuts because wouldn’t it be a shame if they saw your derogatory comments towards them and they accidentally shaved your hair off in retaliation...

😂🤣 Minty, you seem so annoyed that someone would want a garage where their vehicle is to be serviced or upgraded to be tidy and organized. That is not the workshop of an organized mind. I take my cars to 3 garages, one a main dealer (mk3 Focus RS) as it is in warranty, one a Volvo specialist (Volvo S60R) and my track car (Megane R26) goes to a small independent garage. All of them are far tidier and less of a state than Pumaspeed which is a well known outfit that has a bigger budget than 2 of these. It looks like they are waiting for a skip to arrive and a serious premises refresh. I guess I am not a "car guy" by your reckoning as I don't want to take my cars to an unorganized hole. My vids etc of me on track at various tracks and the Nürburgring and the fact that I own 3 performance cars and am booked to 3 track days so far this year mean nothing......🤣🤣🤣 What makes you a "car guy"? Is it that you don't care what state a garage is in? Impressive.

I like the occasional fun factor of it but not for everyday use. If it was on a switch I'd have just for the odd show off moment.

I had dealings with puma speed, found them completely unprofessional. I ordered a home tuning thing from them, they refunded my money, but didn't bother to contact me with why they'd done it. And then tried ordering a power upgrade, think it cost about £1600 or there abouts. Got told that they weren't able to get hold of the exhaust, so I asked for a refund. Took close to two weeks and a couple of phone calls before they admitted that they hadn't refunded the money because one of the idiots in the office had wrongly put down that it had been done. They are just a sad excuse for a business, run by cowboys
