As an owner of one of these FiST, I'm with Jeremy Clarkson: “I spend most of my life whizzing hither and thither in exotica made from platinum and rhodium and fitted with engines that roar and bellow and spit fire. And all I want on the way home is a Ford Fiesta ST.” And its true. You always smile while driving it. The last 4 years are sheer driving pleasure until today. It's a drivers car for real petrolheads. This reminds me of when I went on one of those supercar “track days” I drove a Lamborghini and Aston Martin and genuinely enjoyed driving my Puma more home! [The old one based on the Fiesta Zetec S of the time]

⁠@@jazzehh1879easily if it’s stock. For context Im only just getting my license looking at quotes for one, 21 years old, added my dad as a second driver. About 3.3k a year which for what you’re getting really isn’t that bad especially considering I live in one of the worst areas in Leeds (Halton Moor)

Been daily driving my 2018 Fiesta ST for a a few months now. More comfortable than my 02 focus and more stiff than my 09 335i. The acceleration in 2nd and 3rd are plenty but the ability to get 30mpg on 93 octane is awesome. I couldn’t recommend this car more !

I currently own a mk7 1.4 petrol and some of the things mentioned are relatable, been thinking about getting an ST as an upgrade and this review has pretty much just tempted me twice as much as I already was

I had a mk7 2012 1.4 petrol zetec and now I have an St3, the 1.4 was awesome but nothing on the speed and momentum you can carry through corners with the st

Recently purchased a 64 plate ST3 Mountune, one owner low mileage (23k) and it is huge fun just all I could ask for from a second, fun car and, so far, better than 5he Audi S1 and S3’s that I have owned. Have booked to try it on a hill climb circuit in July, can’t wait!

I have a stage 3 time on mine.....awesome little car

Brilliant cars in the handling department although I’ve never driven one, however I did own a 1.7 puma in the late 90’s and the chassis was sublime 👌

I bought the most ostentatious looking Fiesta, Molten Orange with the factory dual racing stripes. Somehow it goes past being obnoxious and back to being lovable.

Im waiting pretty much watching every review on this car as I'm looking to buy one as a fun, reliable car to throw around a bit. I use to own a 320hp mk2 Focus ST a year ago and it was fast in a straight line but wasnt all that great in a corner, seems the Fiesta is the best for that. Can't wait to go see the one I have lined up later today.

Just gone from a mk2 focus st to one of these you definitely won't be disappointed. I do miss that 5pot roar but the fieasta makes up for it in so many different ways

One of the best cars ive owned for sure. Wish i hadnt sold it

Fun fact: Fiesta ST only have bad reputation on UK. On most of European countries or US they are not very common and have regularly good taste mods and partially sensible owner. It's, for sure, not a first car like it happens on UK, mostly because of a higher cost, and i believe that helps a lot.

@@ParagonCarsLondon Keep looking at them. The plan was a Meg 250 but could do with saving a few quid. Maybe a 208gti aswell...

You should try a newer shape one, the 2018 onwards model. I guess the driving experience is similar, but the interior is much more up to date.

The 1.6 4 Cylinder is safe to add boost too. I would avoid adding more boost to the New 1.5L 3 Cylinder Ecoboost though for obvious reasons,

But why the heck it shows all the time around 18-19 mpg with slowly driving? WTF

I might be wrong but I think that car may be standard on REVO's website it says a standard car should do 30 to 70 in 6.02 seconds which is nearly bang on to what you achieved and a stage 1 should do it on 5.09 seconds. Not sure though. Another thing to mention is at @11:17 you did a pull, if you were full throttle then it should be a lot quicker than that and even slightly break traction.

well worth it. turns it into a little tiger, engine can handel 300 bhp so no problem.

I recently bought a 2014 Fiesta ST, it has the Recaro seats, sunroof and navigation. It needs some attention but I am looking forward to driving it.

Thank you for adding the twisties section. I find most reviews to be same as yours but without twisties. I dont get how you can review THIS car and not do a good amout of cornering and twisties. It misses the point

You could. Make sure it’s been well maintained and be sure to have a good amount of money for any repairs. I’d try and get a slightly lower mileage one if you can.

I have one with 200k and it’s ran great. Only split one coolant hose in my ownership. Stay up to date on the service items like timing belt and it’s great

@@genomedia44 people often replace the engine mounts as they are the same as the base model fiesta with almost triple the torque. Probably has stiffer mounts

Sport mode doesn't mean full traction off on this car. If you hold the ESC button it will turn the traction off completely and then it's a totally different car 😈
