Field Trials Utah: Robot team simulates Mars mission in Utah
Ғылым және технология
Another cool video of DFKI space robots in the desert of morocco: • Field Trials Morocco: ...
A barren, rocky desert landscape and not a single soul around - to come as close as possible to the inhospitable conditions on the Red Planet, scientists of the Robotics Innovation Center of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) tested the cooperation of various robot systems in the desert of the American state of Utah from 24 October to 18 November 2016.
The project Field Trials Utah (FT-Utah) is funded by the German Space Agency (DLR Agentur) with federal funds of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in accordance with the parliamentary resolution of the German Parliament, grant no. 50 RA 1621 (DFKI) and 50RA1622 (University of Bremen).

Nothing like an Astronaut taking a " selfie" on the surface of Mars!
You have achieved ur aim nobody will forget
Bello video. Gracias
Bem interessante a apresentação esquelética desse Robô
Brilliant!
Thank you
nice factory and stuff
Wow superb.
Coyote III sure looks like something which would have a Major Matt Mason figure riding it.
Good job.
America technology no.1. still long time to catch up with

Why don't i see any solar panel.? Whats the power source.? And why the complicated controller.?
Amazing videos. Thanks for those who makes them.
Excellent
Buen video se necesitan aya makinas rápidas dinamicas
When I saw this post, I remembered the advice my grandfather gave me at my Uncle's wedding while we were sitting close to each other next to the Music Band. The music was so loud I couldn't hear what he said.
Nice material and impressive robotic systems. Next stop: Mars! :-)

Watched and supported the channel. Modern robotic system, effective operation, discover the mystery on Mars.
Congratulation.....!!
It's extremely wonderful. Congratulations.
This is COOL, majic, thankyou👽🐾🦎🐙🇦🇺
On the little rover, what's the black "tail" thing doing?
It requires firm testing in different places like sand in desert, etc.

Now we where tge mars images comes from?
Better terrain handling enables success 🏆.
Very good my wish is go to the space
how they face the telemetry delay between the planets...
For the actual Mars mission they're gonna need something different to control the robotic arm, otherwise it's gonna be a very *VERY* tedious and exhausting process! If I'm not mistaken the time it takes for a signal to arrive on Mars was like 15 - 20 minutes, so that control device that guy is using here isn't gonna cut it!

Can you imagine what we could do if humans could feed and help everyone and not kill each other and such?! Imagine what we could do! Together... One. Action of Earth. Everybody represented and cared about... I don't think we'll ever get there sadly....

I have a question mars is the coldest planet in solar system it looks like a desert how ?
@onsite5360
2 жыл бұрын
🙂my friend first of all its not the most coldest planet. Second its atmosphere exist on 98% carbon dioxide which makes a verrrryyyy dense layer so the light and heat of sun cannot pass through it.
♥.♥ Nice share... A nice robot vs All Wheel Steering and wheel lifting and body tilting and other features. Lots of achievements and success for its creator.
Very funny way of motion, the robot jumps up and down. If the designer put sort of flexible rope on that legs with small tension do not let it fall off the legs the motion would be more human and would amortize whole robot. If the robot is remotely controlled, why its camera is not synchronized with movement of eyes and its arm with movement of head human controller?
Very good
What do you mean simulate? That's their official recording grounds for all space "landings"

Хорошо здесь на Земле . Слишком сложно. Много деталей . Есть чему ломаться, но нет возможности ремонта. Если заклинит шарнир на одной ноге , то робот остановится . Провал миссии. Тележка с колесиках проще и надёжней
