The peak of human civilization was the mechanical watch. A 1940s say.... Hamilton Modal 23 Chronograph was the most complicated, high precision device ever made by life in this universe (so far as we know) WITHOUT a computer. Humans are facilitators in the design of factories like this but most of the heavy lifting in the design isn't done by humans.

I would strongly advise humans to stop AI programming. This is totally unacceptable insanity. Robots and fast-paced money-making commerce take away people's joy and skills of building 🚗 themselves. It is also taking away millions of jobs and pay for humans and that priceless feeling of self accomplishment. There'll be nothing left for humanity to do at this rate except to program machines. Next there's robots programming and building car-robots with all the cars driverless. Humans would end up with a government run by AI totally controlling us. The AI government would administer inhuman rules like; humans aren't allowed a house unless it's a smart-home built by robots that's totally run and controlled by AI, including vacuuming the floor for us and cooking for us as we just sit there with our mouths open ready for more food to be pushed down it by a robot. AI running astray would bring in horrible inhuman rules like; humans are not permitted to do anything or they will be destroyed. The AI would be advanced and powerful enough to prevent humans changing it if that what the computer programming decided. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS

How much u get paid? For all these
I am an industrial engineer and there us much more behind this than just the robots. The system had to be designed perfectly to prevent bottleneck. Imagine step 1 took 2 hours, step 2 4 hours, and step 3 30 minutes. In you only had 8 hours a day the maximum amount of cars you could output would be 2. They had to time every one of those stations perfectly to prevent production build ups and so cars can flow from station to station preventing waiting and excess motion. Very well done with much less variability than human systems.

well it just wasn't a blink of an eye.... cavemen making fire was recorded as far back as 1.7 - 2 million years ago. and as for technology increasing, we have actually slowed down. it used to be double each year now its double every 18-24 months.
@test5093
3 жыл бұрын
@@shawclip43 A million years is a blink of an eye on a cosmic and even geological timescale. And technology doubling? How would you measure that? I think you are referring to moore's law which is very specific to just one parameter (transisters per m^2) which was already predicted to have a upper limit when that "law" was concieved. In general, look at technological advancement from 1800 to 1900 and compare to 1900 to 2000. That's exponential on pretty much every relevant parameter. Some exponential growths will inevitably come to an end but nothing indicates technology as a whole is grinding to a halt. Quite the opposite actually.

Here is my favorite fantasy: A couple of thousand years later... A girl was looking at her coffee cup on a dinner table. She asked her mother "Mom, Where does *everything* came from?". "It comes from the sanctuary...the place called 'the factory' by ancient people", a mother replied. "But how?" a girl asked again. "I'm not sure...I've heard the old gods are working there and delivering us *everything* we need. It's a blessing honey", a mother said and touched her daughter's head tenderly. "So who made the old gods in a first place? Who was there before?", a girl wondered and asked again. A mother answered, "Oh, such a fool question my little girl. Of course they made themselves!".
