I live in US, but I go to Poland every year. Too bad they do not have good yarn stores, which is a shame given tons of sheep in Polish mountains…

The idea of creating a top with a mix of knitting and crochet and maybe sewing sounds fascinating. Crochet patterns, like knitting patterns can be written out or charted. Looking at a few crochet patterns might help you, or doing an internet search for crochet chart symbols. Good luck! It would be fun to tech edit that one!
