Fiber-based networks: FDDI, SONET, FTTX, FTTP, FTTH, PON, AON
Introduction
FDDI is a fiber-based LAN technology. SONET/SDH is a fiber-based WAN technology. Fiber to the x includes many different forms of network architecture, such as FTTP, FTTH. They are last-mile solutions to broadband service access distribution to the end-users. PON and AON are two types of standards and protocols used in the Fiber to the x architecture.

Sunny Sir, as per the diagram in FDDI - the secondary ring runs data in clockwise direction and primary ring runs data in anti-clockwise direction.

What do you mean? Are you referring to the way how Mr. Sunny speaks? If yes, you're correct the way he speaks English is not perfect but the way he delivers and educate is superb, far better than any other English lecturer here in KZread.
