Fiat Panda Cross 2015 review - Car Keys

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Read the full review on the Fiat Panda Cross here: www.carkeys.co.uk/car-reviews...
The range-topping model in Fiat’s Panda range, the Panda Cross aims to combine the off-road capability of a full 4x4 with the chicness of a small hatchback.
Fiat’s clearly taking practicality seriously, with a tough-looking body and the same four-wheel drive system as the popular Panda 4x4, but is it enough to take on compact SUVs like the Vauxhall Mokka or Skoda Yeti?
Can the Panda Cross really tackle models like the Vauxhall Mokka? Watch our video review above to find out, or skip to bits of key information using the links below:

Having owned a Panda Cross for a just under a year now, I can agree with all the comments in this video. There are a couple of additional points I think are worth mentioning: 1. I have aTwinAir petrol version that has 6 gears, this means the ratios are better and it performs reasonably well on the motorway. 2. Having driven other Pandas I have noticed that the lighter TwinAir engine seems to make the whole car better weighted, the steering does not feel as twitchy at motorway speeds. 3. I regret not ticking the winter pack option. 4. In icy/snowy conditions it is fantastic. Overall I am very pleased with the car and it suits my needs down to the ground.

Agree with you on the winter pack option, @ £250 extra for heated seats and heated front windscreen thats a bargain that makes a lot of sense in UK winters. Mine is the Fiat Panda Antarctica, a limited edition, that adds a few features over the 4x4, such as reverse park sensors, rear privacy glass, a black roof, electric heated mirrors, hill hold handbrake etc but no winter pack!!! Thats still an extra option?? Should have been part of the standard features on this model I feel. 😁😯 Just wish the original owner had ordered the winter pack, makes such a big difference on those frosty mornings!! 👍😎😁

I drive the Panda 4x4 Antartica. They are great to drive, great in snow and cut through waterlogged roads. I have been up to Aviemore with it and there isn't any roads it can't handle. I am 6'2" and there is plenty of room inside.

Have had the 500 and I think this may be the next one for me. The twin air engine is so much fun allthough I had the regular petrol in the 500. The Cross seems excellent for my familys urge to explore new places to photograph.

I want want want!! 🌟 Currently driving a Panda Twinair, two years now and for an engine I was sure I'd hate after being used to big engines.. I would not see past it! It's driven mostly in Eco mode but when I hit that "Kung Foo" button & laugh at those fools who are not expecting to be left standing by a Grandma car 😂😂😂 Absolutely in love with this funky yellow bug eyed creature.. when the local garage gets its hands on a Twinair for me.. it's mine❗ 💝

Loving my Panda Cross, great character and great fun on and off road. It could do with adjustable air suspension as it's a bit low for off roading so will need to see if i can find a kit and fitter.

Maybe I am off topic saying this, but as a Fiat Panda 1.1 2006 owner, I can say these ARE indeed fun to ride. I am thinking about it recently - selling my panda and add some extra money to buy a used Panda trekking or cross. Also, I speculate to buy a really cheap used and old off-road car like a 200x Opel Frontera, Land Rover Freelander and such. I just don't know... If the budget wouldn't be an issue, I would buy a new 4x4, but it is, sadly. Anyway, the Panda has something in it, maybe call it character. It is fun to drive, easy to park and maintain. Maybe the new models’ parts for replacement are very expensive, but it just looks so GOOD!

Yes and I drive a car in the supermini category anyway. One of my neighbours has one and noticed each it snowed, 3 times in a week, while many walked or stayed home he was out before 7am business as usual. We had to push a mini, not mine, to the main road so best and worst cars I have seen in the snow this year.

Got the Twin Air Cross myself, very happy with it. But I would prefer better cupholders and more storage options inside the cabin. Also I think the fuel economy is not that great for a two sylinder engine and a 1080kg heavy car. Can't wait to test it in the snow!

Great little car. This present one is my second after years of Land Rover (almost all models) and two Jeep Patriots. Fuel economy on the Cross is excellent and its wading ability really takes some believing. The first time that that water gets as deep is unnerving but this car takes it and makes it. My first Panda was in a write-off accident and it gave its life for mine. Against a much larger four-by-four, a Nissan Navara! Total write off, but here I am. Any faults? Yes, as mentioned in the video, the diesel version could really do with a sixth gear. And really now....only dead poor people drive cars with manual wind-down rear windows these days!!!. Only kidding; that was a Bill Bryson line about Nebraska, it wasn't mine!

Simon Clark Hi Simon, thanks for the feedback, we're always looking to improve our videos. We tend not to mention the prices as they are often subject to change, but at the time of writing a Panda Cross diesel has an MRP of £17,225 and our Car Keys target price is between £16,130 and £17,006. Check out our site to see how much you could save: www.carkeys.co.uk/fiat/panda/hatchback

@@AM-mk3zc there's whole community of owners with different opinion vs your singular statement. I own one and rent another while at my holliday home location, both are adequate vehicles, however , Jiminy is more versatile, robust and puts smile on you face while driving despite the amount of fiats overtaking you. Besides there's Suzuki vs fiat build quality hickup....

U.P. dan, you are wrong. Animals are killed often specifically for the leather trade. Watch the documentary "Earthlings" for more on it. Furthermore, leather is a product just as any product from the animal. The sale of leather significantly contributes to making animal farming economically viable. If you buy leather you have blood on your hands. Go vegan and live cruelty-free.

+Ersatz Mode We kill deer with our cars and many are also used for hide. If we didn't eat the cattle they would still die from being torn apart from coyote or wolves. Is that what you want? Watch the videos of coyote talking down deer. You meanie.
