still have my 2007 i-talian thoroughbred base model.108k of hard short distance runs. probably the most cost effective car i've ever had the pleasure of. towed my gin palace(dinghy) with ease, high 40's per 8 pints. Repairs over last 10 years- top mount (common),door lock mech(common),heater fan rheostat(common),exhaust,tyres,lamps(expected). Output shaft seal a bit weepy now,couple of scars and the sheer embarrassment of an old motor might be the end of its journey with me. I salute it.

oil needs to be 5W-40 you got it wrong..and air filter was wrong installed gray sponge needs to face front of car

Oil is one of the recommended oils for the engine according to the supplier, and yes the filter was in backwards. I did put the new one in the same wrong way at first then turned it round. I thought I showed that in the video but I’ve just watched it back and it goes from being backwards to the air box being back together and I’ve missed out the clip where I turned it round.

You have just earned a sub thanks for the vid I have a punto as a first car low insurance haha any tips on to lower the HP it's too fast haha

Cheers mate. If you service it yourself put the air filter in the other way round then I did in the video. The original filter was in backwards and I put the new one in the same way before realising. I thought I had shown the bit where I put it in the right way round but I screwed up with the editing lol

In my punto 1200 69 cv GPL use the oil 5w30 gazprom ecogas.. Is better than 5w40.... The oil 5w30 reduce consumption the engine works better..... In a car with 70 hp 5w30 is good

There are a few options for oil type on these engines,.. tbh I just think they’re happy as long as they’ve got some in them.

hey dude?i lost a spark plug in the engine bay :(( the last one on the left. it went somewhere and i don't know how to take it out. before i poked it with a long screw driver i could have seen it standing. now it's hidden somewhere there? what can i do? i can't go under the car. i already ordered one on ebay. what will it happen to it? fall while driving?

It depends where it’s landed. As long as it’s not in any moving parts then it will likely just fall out and stick itself into a tyre on car behind you,.. but if it’s stick itself in the timing belt cover it’s gonna fuck shit up. You could do with finding it really as a spark plug is a significant enough lump of metal so that if it’s rattling about in the wrong place it isn’t gonna do any good.

Any difference in the 1.2 and 1.4 engine bays?

One has a 1.2 litre engine in there, the other a 1.4 litre. As far as I know, as long as it’s not the 16v sporting I think they are the same otherwise though, but I could be wrong. Does yours look the same under the bonnet as this one?

Tak. Umieściłem go w taki sam sposób jak stary, zanim zdałem sobie sprawę, że jest źle i odwróciłem go. Chciałem usunąć tę część filmu, ale pomyliłem edycję i pokazałem, że została zainstalowana w niewłaściwy sposób. Gdy zauważyłem swój błąd, umieściłem przypięty komentarz na ten temat. Filtr powietrza został jednak zamontowany w prawidłowy sposób przed jazdą samochodem.
