The rust. Man I feel for you guys in the UK. Here in OZ you would never see that. Good work fixing it but it would be taken off the road here prior to you fixing it. Good job all round mate. Cheers.

Nice too see all the good stuff happening to this car, caught in time with nothing major to worry about. So many interesting cars need this kind of attention but not many places will do it.

Great videos and great channel, I am hooked on them since finding them a few weeks ago. As a fiat/alfa enthusiast of this era it seems every video is tailor made for me. I had a silver barchetta, a red alfa 166 3.0 v6 and even a marea 2.0 5 cylinder. This coupé project is great even though I would have dropped the engine and gone for a more comprehensive restoration.

Oh my word how much rust and corrosion is everywhere, even the engine, here in Romania we have bad weather for aprox 3 months a year, but i don't think i have a spot of rust on the body or even a screw head. Although I think cars sold in the UK just have worse rust protection then to ones sold in mainland Europe IMHO. Good job m8! Keep it up

@@ItaliaAutos I get your point. I am just watching a lot of Arthur Tussik's videos. Check out his channel; watching his craft repairing crashed cars, makes me want to switch profession....jlnow that I think of it, what would the cost be to drive or ship the car to an Eastern European Garage, like Arthur's and have it repaired there? In Greece, where I currently live, people often drive/ship their vehicles to neighboring countries (Bulgaria, Romania) to tried/tested garages for large/expensive repairs (and to buy used ones).. .... some local garages have kinda comparative prices, but working with seasonal workers of course...e.g. 450€ for full paint-job metallic colour, including fixing rust spots (but large welding works will set you back for another ~200€ or something). Maybe worth considering if a car needs extenside welding, which may not be your expertise or not be part of yiur preferred work. I don't know how things are done in the UK, of course (I've lived/studied there, but have no idea about car repair practices and costs)
