6 cylinders in V configuration and 5 cylinders in line with turbo. Fantastic cars. If I had the money, I would buy both in best shape possible.

I love the Fiat Coupe, but man that Alfa’s V6 is irresistible.

Amazing. Both of the cars and the scenery. Fiat's really good. But the Alfa.. oh, the Alfa's the "Diva". Just for the sake of its glorious V6.

Im the proud owner of a 20vt coupe, what an amazing car it is, insane performance and so unique, very much a baby ferrari!

Owned both simultaneously, hands down the busso engine sounds the best, but I think the camera doesn't do justice for the 5 cylinder engine of the Fiat, sounds awesome too. The Fiat felt the fastest from both cars.

Agree and its a more complete car. Practical, roomy, frugal, comfy on journeys and pretty bombproof actually (my car was anyway)

GTV naturally aspirated 'Busso' quicker from 0-30 though, before the Fiat's turbo kicks in.

Fab! I have a 3.0 GTV so it was good to hear this one and have a view of the Fiat at the same time. Count me in for your next run out 😁

@@petrvrana834 The coupe hit an untreated stretch of road in the snow, and that was it! Was only doing about 40mph. The insurance company wrote it off, but I still managed to drive it home after the incident. Got an MX-5 RF now, which is another awesome car!

Really miss my sprint blue 20v turbo. Sold it 15 years ago to buy a van for my business. Still have the van. Tried to buy the coupe back a few years later but it had been written off. Looking at buying another one soon. Has to be sprint blue with a tan interior.

Awesome sounds from both engines…two of the best sensible money can buy. Coupe has it for me, but hey I’m biased lol. Bloody hell lots of cyclists and pedestrians mind…nice driving both!!✌️🙏👍boost and third gear all you need lol. 😂😂

I own a mint gtv V6 exact same as in video I’ve driven both an gtv busso engine is hands down the better power plant but has a few have also said I love both cars 🤷‍♂️😍

I have the one in front (beautiful Busso engine) but sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have bought the one behind (I had an option on a beautiful Portofino blue 20v turbo). Then I hear my Busso engine at 6-7K revs..... what's your feeling about your lovely Fiat?

Only had it around a week and loving it so far standard setup all round so rolls abit too much in the corners but some springs and are on order. The GTV owner took me out in his the sound and raw power was incredible and seats hugged you more felt like a proper drivers car. The coupe feels more like a tourer more spacious and just pulls every gear once your rolling. Two very different cars despite their similar looks and power but both superb!

Good video, and beaoutiful cars too. Imho, GTV on dynamics and general handling is on another level. I have a 3.2 and I tested a Coupe T16... Also the driver position on coupe is too high, its seems a "normal car", not a sport gran turismo like GTV. T20 on straight line is faster than 3.0 V6 (150kg lighter) but equal to a 3.2 V6... I put a like 👊👍

Completely agree with you, went out in the GTV much more of a drivers car, the coupe seats don’t hold well and if you’re any taller than 5’10 you need to recline right back or your heads a inch of the roof. Thanks for the like 👍🏻

That's why you must buy the 20vTurbo Plus six speed with Recaro seats, it changes all that. On circuit and moutains 20vTurbo has proved into all press tests that the Fiat 20vTurbo is more efficient with better times, thanks to his LSD viscodrive on front, that lacks on Gtv... 😉

@@YANT20 man, you are kidding me? Coupe is a great gt-car, but if you search a mix of sport and gt the only answer is a V6 GTV, with it's fantastic multilink and better weight-distribution. It is also far more rigid and stable when you drive fast, trust me... On GTV you can put the Q2 differential that is even better than vuscodrive, and with out doubt is a great improvement for dybamics on mountains roads.

@@Jack-cv4ke I own a T20+ since year 2000, 've bought it new . Gtv has not Q2 stock. In France, all comparatives made by mag have been winned by the Coupe 20 Vt over the Gtv, because of the Gtv understeer ( no LSD), despite of the multilink rear ( badly adjusted). Only the last 3.2 Gtv had best adjust, with also softer front springs to enhance motricity. French magazine "Échappement" had measured track times between the two cars, and on a rally special, and the 20vTurbo was widely in front the 3.0l 24 v. With the 3l2, you have the best Gtv, not compare with T16, but the T20 Plus six speed, which has front brace, wider tyres, best engine, different seats, etc... I made track days with mine, only with Bilstein B6 shocks and Eibach springs, R1R Toyo tyres and was great for a FWD ! After that made à little tune to have 250 hp, perfect👍

@@YANT20 I have 3.2 GTV since 2006 so I know everything on that car. Q2 diff is a plug and play mod, it is the same of 147 Q2. GTV overall is the better car to drive, just for multilink/better weight distribution and obviously a stiffer frame. Then it has a lower centre of gravity. If you put in Q2 it becomes perfect! I know people who have both (GTV and Coupe or Spider and Coupe too), everyone agrees that the GTV is better to drive.. Another disadvantage of the Coupe is the turbolag which does not help at all between the curves.

Guy driving the Alfa seems to be the better driver by quite a decent margin

That’s because he was! Had that Alfa nearly half as long as I’ve been alive! 😂

The Alfa's a cool car but the Coupe would murder it if you refresh the suspension etc , and thats just the handling. Shame you didnt have any long straights as the Coupe would"ve flew past.....PS - I have a Coupe also and when you learn its ways your just gone...... even in 2021!.....And then you can tune it easily and its siya'nora Alfa.

in a straight line the coupe would be a little faster, but you're wrong about the handling... They are both on the same platform, except the alfa has a more sophisticated rear suspension setup. The only thing it needs is a q2 diff and it is better in corners

@@zigaveren3902 I agree with you. If both cars are stock which is the only way to compare, there might be a slight straight line advantage with the coupe, but that is negligible. On a road like this or any other driving road, the GTV is the better car for its naturally aspirated instant across the rev range torque and superior suspension setup. The GTV in the video does have a Q2 / Quaife diff.

Am looking forward to watching this. I had a 20VT for a couple of years. I sold it recently , replacing it with an RCZ. The RCZ is in many ways the better car. But it’s engine certainly hasn’t got the sound or go of the 20VT !

Very latest series of wheeler dealers buy a fiat coupe 20v turbo now it's back in the UK with latest mechanic Elvis being from a motor racing back ground having worked for McLaren F1 he knows alot motor racing specialist he takes the fiat coupe to a specialist and they make well over 300bhp , when car completed they race it against a Ferrari which was made the same year as the fiat and.fiat wipes the.floor.with the.fezza.

GTV Is much heavier but has Better sound

A integrale would have both of these ....

Bad driver in the fiat coupé!! Constantly letting the turbo loose all its spool, he's driving it like a normally aspirated car not a forced induction 😓
