Hi mate, I’ve had my 2016 fiat 500x for 7 months and both keys have always been dodgy even though I’ve put new batteries in and changed the battery on the car the car tells me no key detected or low battery and i have to press the fobs a few times to unlock or lock the car, any advice would be greatly appreciated as fiat want to change me a fortune for a diagnostic test and as the fobs do work (sporadically) i fear no faults will be found, please help 🤞🤞🤞

This is the standard wat to emergency start for many of the cars now including VW group, Nissan and Fiat

@@TheCarKeyMan not the procedure shown in the video, neither of my keys start the car unless I hold them on the aluminum box behind the base of the underside of the steering column and then after many attempts it starts, however once it starts the engine wont switch off, the only way is to stall it..

@@tomaszzielinski7454 I had ti have it towed to Fiat, turns out it was because where I had a valet they left ignition on for ages then julped it. The guy at Fiat dealership said this in the service dept cost £150

Didn't work for me 😢
