Thanks for your comment. This is such a sweet little van - I have working on it out side my house but so many people stop to chat , progress is slow! Engine wise everything seems to run fine. Just need to modify the inside so that 3 of us we can sleep in her comfortable. As time permits, the plan will be to rebuild/renew everything l- exhaust, suspension and engine etc so that even the parts you don't see look amazing. Mike

Thanks for your comment....the problem with having many vehicles is that your time becomes stretched. I'm really keen to finish the red project 280SL so that I can move the gold parts out the garage to make space. Just waiting in some parts. Mike

@@MikesMercsandothercars the engine rebuilt is slow, but I’m moving forward at least. My last hurdle was poor work done at the machinist. I live in US Arizona and it is hot this time of year so that’s slowing things way down. Today it’s supposed to be about 113 degrees (about 45 Celsius) and in my garage it’s even hotter! It’s 6:30am now and it’s already 95 degrees.
