To be fair, as crappy as this is, I think it's a lot better than what happened after vanilla Skadi's release where they basically gimped every single new AOE quick servant that came out after her, seemingly to try and stop the looping meta.

this is what happens when you remove re-runs and are forced to release new servants every single month

When you think about it, they’re just putting in less work now. In the previous summer events, there is at least 1 5-star servant with an alternation NP animation with ascension. For example Musashi, Jeanne, Kama and BunnyToria. But this year we have 3 5-star summer servants and they all had only 1 NP animation. 😢

@@xenoemblem7 his skills in the LN includes 'Godspeed A' (increase his speed and agility the longer the fight goes on) and 'All Kinds of Talent A' (kinda like Imperial Privilege but the way it's described is like he can change his specialty to anyway he likes to at least Rank B). I'd say he's gonna have an NP type changer and has a Buster-Quick specialty

It is kind of sad that they made her a generic waifu. I mean, how would you feel if you see someone like jar jar binks behind a darth vader mask? There was a potential for a cool servant and instead, they went with this generic model and pretty much similar to the assassin they released recently. I'm just disappointed that I spent 270 sq and 20 tickets and didn't get barghest or any gold servant for that matter. It is even more triggering since in na, I don't save quartz and I get most of the servants I want, while in jp, I saved all these quartz and couldn't even get one gold servant

@@lookingforlove839 I've seen a lot of jokes comparing her to generic browser game ad waifus asking you to "save my kingdom", and it honestly isn't far off. Her design does seem lore accurate relative to how a lot of the fae were portrayed in LB6, but Barghest, Melusine, and Baobhan Sith were also fae and had wayyyy more interesting base character designs. Her armor is cool, but otherwise she feels very low effort.

4 if you count Skadi summer. But real talk though, I feel they are trying to fill up the roster of Quick AOE servants.

Not only this where the fuck are the NP animation remakes? We have stagnated since that BB minor NP upgrade and it feels like forever now.

I guess this will happen eventually if you keep pumping out new Servants every month or two. You'll eventually reach a creativity block and just copypaste previous Servants, hoping we wouldn't notice.

It maybe bias but even when Arts has more Farmers I can see them having a bit more variety in terms of purpose. Jeanne hit the weakest but has the easiest time spamming compare to the test, Sengo and Ryouma can ramp up their damage overtime with 1 is more aggressive and the other's defensive, and Da Vinci can guarantee her Supports her NP and the list goes on.

Don't care, she's cute and hot so I'm still going to roll for her when she comes to NA.

I’m so let down in a couple ways with Britomart. The biggest thing is what a bunch of people said already: she doffs her armour even in Asc1 but then completely disregards it after first asc1. I was hoping she’d slowly lose the armour like MHXX. Her kit also feels so vanilla? It seems super generic to me and it is a direct upgrade to Bradamante, but stronger against Riding versus have NP strength up. I hope Lasangle *quickly* gives her something to make her stand out. There really isn’t a point for me waiting ~2 years for her. I am still a newer player but it seems like you veterans hold similar opinions so I feel a little less neurotic about it. Hopefully Lasangle can buck this trend, gotta put W’s in their name instead of holding onto those L’s.

@@GaioMare Tbh if his first skill could at least keep the attack bonus and the anti-invulnerability for 3 turns that would already make him much more interesting to use (even if he would remain less powerful than those who made him obsolete). But yes, adding a crit and quick attack bonus would also be a good improvement.

Eh, Edmond is still better than quite a few of the new loopers like Britomartis for example. His damage is _significantly_ higher due to his class and upgraded NP, and in CQ contexts his damage rampa up due to the post damage def down

Bradamante is also like 3 years old or something at this point. As much as it sucks to say, powercreep as the game progresses is guaranteed in gacha games. It's literally unavoidable, especially when you have retards like the people I see on the fan wiki constantly whining about how we having had anything "super OP or game changing" every time a new SSR is released.

I have one to share too Plushie. Her third skill is also similar to the third skill of Nine-Tattoo Dragon Eliza (the difference is that Britomart has NP charge while Dragon Eliza has Crit Damage). Other than that, it is so similar down to the skill rank of C, down to the cooldowns from 8 to 6 and down to the percentages of 20% to 30%. That is just so weird since Dragon Eliza only came out before Britomart (same as Huyan Zhuo). I mean we will tend to see similar skill sets one way or the other but come on, not as this close to release to each other 😅

Aaand they released another servant who has a cut-in NP and uses their stage 3 ascension or a default sprite.

Keep in mind, not only did they make the same servant thrice, they literally downgraded the servant class as Sen no Rikyu was berserker and can easily fulfill both Quick AOE servant’s roles more universally.

Just for those who have her. For those who don't have her but want to Quick loop, more alternative is needed. Just like how I, an NA player, must have multiple Arts loopers if I want to loop farm because I don't have the universal looper Spishtar or S.Musashi.

Brad was d3ad on Arrival, Parvati and Valk do everything she did, but better. Sans dmg, but you can np5 easily... She needs MHX/Medb treatment to be good. Like, 50% charge, powermod vs something common, etc.

I feel like they may have ran into a snag with scheduling in general so they rushed this servant out relatively barebones with the event so they can crunch on LB7. At least that's the hope. Maybe they'll realize not having reruns was a mistake as reruns were a great way to pad the weeks and help newer players catch up.

It's off topic but I just wish they didn't make Britomart just a better version of Bradamante. Was hoping they'd just make her ST and crit focused. I'm not even a fan of hers since she spooked me but from a gameplay standpoint, a Bradamante buff is severely needed. Would've been nice.

Well, technically britomart and bradamante are related, since britomart is the british version of her (thats why her name reminds s little bit to bradamante), so is not a surprise that they have similarities and stuff like that

I'm disappointed that they didn't make her a single target DPS. Her design screams I am a "big knight who will Bonk you out of exsistance". But no. We got so many AOE servants, she will be another forgetable servant in players Chaldea. PS: I'm so bored at the current state of FGO. Main Interlude bosses doesn't drop anything, we just keep on bullying them for nothing. A dead week is so common now. Events are so stretch out and they feel so boting to do. Why can't Lassangle make a permanent prison tower, like an IS mode in Arknights or Battle Frontier in Pokemon?

I like how you could just change her NP to ST doing absolutely nothing else and it'd still work fine animation wise.

I’d like a new meta at some point. Maybe a change to how NP gen works that let’s all 3 cards generate np but at different % values. It feels like we hit each corner of the creative market as things are and now the goal is to fill each meta with at least 1 SSR per class.

That's cuz ST servants are more or less trash lmao. FGO is a game build by how well you can grind or help other characters grind, so it shouldn't come to a surprise that they don't bother with them as much especially when enough buffs will have you hit almost as hard as a ST NP

imo Britomart is worse than Huyan Zhuo for the simple reason that Huyan has 100% buff removal resist nobody uses quick for farming anymore and they both have invul pierce but buff removal res is pretty big for speed running CQs (which is quick's new role now imo)

More or less: Britomart is basically knockoff Bradamante, so her kit must be similar to her, and in the poem she had a magic spear that could unhorse any knight hit by it. So you get an AoE quick Lancer with battery, a defensive skill, and dual card type buff skill, that specializes against Riders.

They need to buff and rework old units like Year One servants. A lot of them are missing damage multipliers or their buffs are just wonky compared to newer units. Summer servants need buffs too!

The absolute STATE of Quick. All they know is AOE, press green and charge their batteries.

They should stop releasing AoE Quick Np Servants coz they release 3 straight quick AoE servants in a 3 consecutive events.. I hope the next servants will be quick ST or any type of NP servants except for Quick AoE NP
