If nothing else, Izou is comically, even delightfully maniacal, with some kinda inferiority complex iirc. Guess he lives in the shadow of more popular swordsmen of his era like Okita and the Shinsengumi But it's funny to just listen to him ham it up and cackle like an evil moron and continually insist that he's a genius swordsman I think I've heard people describe Izou as FSN Shinji but not useless and with actual talent for something

you should read Fate Type Redline if you really want to see Izou work to his full capacity.

My body and wallet is READY FOR HIM. What isn't ready? Well, I've got like, no EXP for him. But that doesn't matter, he's getting to lvl. 100 as fast as possible(Joining my Kotarou). As for his ascension mats, well I guess I can completely consider myself a masochist because of how much I farmed for his stuff, all that's left is bones. One last thing, Go read Fate/Type Redline peeps! It's an ongoing manga that has all the characters of Koha-Ace, but none of the silliness. It's epic as hell. You wanna see Nobu being terrifyingly badass, and Okita being the best Murder waifu?? Type-Redline is your manga to go!

@@amari7782 there are a tonne of assassins which can do his job a lot better it's more about using and rolling for him as a character and servant. If you want to get a job done you can just use a support Hassan when for whatever reason you don't have your own shiki. On lower rarity cursed arm does nice job and regend. So as far as gameplay is concerned shiki more or less does everything, but you still would want and look for reasons to use him bc: 1. You spent the effort on rolling for him and lvling up his skills so naturally 2. Fun to use 3. Cool bad ass voice lines 4. Memes

Manslayer Husband is finally here! I'm going to wait until he's the solo 3 Star rate-up for the best chance to try getting him to NP5 with the fewest spent SQ. I've saved up lots of Gold Embers for him in both my main and Second Archive. Problem is, I just found out that Ryouma needs to be ascended 3 times in order to clear all the event missions. Now I gotta prioritize his leveling over Izou's.

Izou is SUPER fun to play with and your assessment of his strengths and weaknesses are very accurate. Two things I'll mention though are that 1. His NP's stargen buff shouldn't be underestimated. He can very easily go from an NP brave chain to having enough stars to to fuel a crit turn EASILY. The other is that due to his reliance on brave chaining, he works QUITE well with Summer BB. Lock in 2 of Izou's Arts cards and watch him spam his NP until Time Stop is broken. He was also the single most grailed unit in 2018 JP so...he's popular. I'd LOVE to go for him but I'm shooting for Holmes redemption after the absolute shitshow that was the Ani 2 banner (over 1,500 SQ no 5*'s at all).

Some of the coolest looking art in the game. Love this dude’s design. Kinda hope I don’t get Okitan quickly just so can have a better chance of getting him.

The ascension and skill mats just reminds me of how pain staking bones and fool’s chain are. Bones especially when everyone I have needs them. He does look cool and his animations are nifty

Just gotta say that i really like how you now include Ascension and skill mats in the most recent spotlights, as well as mention on where to farm them, its a great addition to the content of the spotlights Im personally not interested on Izou, even less with that hellish mat list, he would be a trophy if i were to roll for Chokita, which i sadly wont

So update to this; I did manage to get 6 copies of Izou before finally getting Okita Alter, unfortunately in my haste and hubris of getting Okita I accidentally ended up feeding an NP5 Izou to her and had to use the rest of my remaining Quartz to summon another *one*

I plan to roll for him. So of course I'll probably get okita alter before i get izou

so any plans to review some of the older 3 stars like Bedivere, Cu, and kid gil?

Honestly can’t wait for the GudaGuda 3 banner to drop, I know some people are excited for the Sherlock event but I’m kinda bummed out that ima have to wait around 2 more weeks if not more for this banner to drop

I feel like if he was added in Friend Summon as well for a limited time, I would pull all the FP I saved up, but with new summer around the corner and 600 plus saved up. I will just wait next year.

I’m gonna be honest. He was originally the character for the banner that I least wanted to pull. I like him a lot though. He’s like a 3 star version of Kojiro. I’m not thrilled with his materials needed, but I always enjoy crit characters

I was planning to stock up my stakes for Fujino now that I’m done with eresh since she needs em, but Izou needs em too And next year Reines needs them and I’m saving for her aaaaaa

Just when I thought I can finally start saving for Skadi and summer MHX (foreigner) this event shows up. I really want Majin but I want to save my tics & SQ.

I just wanted to say this izou was one of my first servants yes I had a really really bad time gathering his ascension materials for a long time he was just stuck at level 50 but I knew I wanted to keep him and play him. Now hes fully Grailed and one of my beloved servants but I gotta admit leveling up his skills is pain in the but. But still I LOVE MY DOGGO

Bit late to this, but I find a great team with him is Izo, CasGil and Hokusai, with Chiron, Mozart and Tamamo on standby. As for CEs, Kaleid Sapphire or Seaside Luxury work great.

This man... this man is a fucking wonderful servant. I need him his np animation ALONE is worth rolling for him! Now that i know how to use him correctly it shouldn't be too hard to make him a boss slaying machine!

I want him quite badly, but I need to save for Ibaraki and Ushi this summer. And since I don't have a job right now I can't throw too much money around in this atm. I want to use him as he has a fantastic design and a cool personality but I might wait until after summer if that is the case.

I know this is late and wow the only three star i saw you do is this and Hozouin. You should review servant from all rarities. I really want to hear ur opinion on servants with low stars as well lol

I did a F2P tier list video recently, it's a bit long but I basically reviewed all the 3 star and lower servants. I plan on doing more dedicated spotlights for the silver and bronze servants that are releasing with the Lost Belts and new events.

Two more CE's that would work well with Izou are Dive to Blue: Free from Summer 2 Arts and NP damage up 50% charge if you MLB it New Beginnings: Arts and crit damage buffs 40% charge (50 if mlb)

Is he worth rolling for in Guda? I like collecting the 3*'s when I can since they're easy to roll and can often be the hair that wins a challenge quest or bad farm run. Feels like he just waits for the one turn he's allowed to use a brave chain to get the most out of his first skill or draw in crits. Too bad his cards are made for NP gain though with a single target attack it could improve his lacking damage and slip into Arts teams.

Pomeranian is finally here ^^ I've been waiting for this moment way too long and I've had to skip some tantalizing banners in order to have a relatively fair amount of resources to spend on him (334 quartz and 29 tickets (currently) is a low amount to aim for a np5, but such is the life of f2p ¬¬) and hopefully I'll be lucky enough to avoid rolling for him next year. .P.S.: The banner on September is actually coming to NA? I recall it being based on a Japanese festivity, if that's the case I don't think it's coming (which it's a shame since it'd help me greatly if I fail epically on Guda Guda 3 and is a really great banner (Sitting man, Shuten, Raikou and our favourite pomeranian)).

I'm interested in the answer because I already have Tammamo who spooked me and I intend to roll for Skadi but obviously I'd need to remove one of my two flexible classes to put them both on at the same time.

It’s up to you really. Most of the time strong servants are used for starting players, whilst great supports are used for experienced players.

Depends on the class, for casters you are definitely better off with supports like Tamamo, Waver, Merlin, Skadi. Those will get you the most FP. Usualyl for every other class you can just put your strongest servant, I recommend an AoE berserker with kaleidoscope or imaginary element since people will likely use them to farm hands and make sure your rider has the mona lisa CE if you have it.

“A” for how edgy he is, specially in a team composed of him, Salieri and Mozart. “S” for how SAD I am for not being able to roll for him...

I grailed him to lvl 80 just cuz his 2nd ascension is so cool looking. I put him next to my lvl 80 Salieri and lvl 80 angra. they just look dope.

I'm willing to invest many into the skills and NP. I just don't have the gems...

I just have laugh. My buddy, who also plays FGO, is using his hat art for an Exalted (tabletop rp by whitewolf) game we are playing. His character is named literally Manslayer and best way to describe him... Murder at high speeds or a murder blender

He is really close to being overpowered. Like if his np had an enemy defense down, self buff against humanoid enemies, arts buff for three turns or even just one, he would easily be a three star Shiki or jack. Rn I’m having a lot of fun using him with my Okasabehime, and support Semiramis. He is a really high investment.

If my stuggles for mori were anything to go by pulling for him is gonna be R O U G H for me

I'm rolling the banner only for him, anything else is bonus. I won't even have 100 quartz prepared, maybe about 90 at most. If I don't NP5 him I may berserk and speed through the event--

No caster Gil for arts crit teams? The only reason why I ask is because he can give him extra arts damage make him hit harder and help him make even more star gen and his np overcharge with a defense buff

Casgil and lanling work perfectly with him once lanling comes out since he gives a 500-1500 dmg cut depending on lvl and they have roughly the same kit but with lanling he has more crit steroids

After using 150 quartz, I got NP 5 Izou, Robin Hood, and Alexander. I wanted an SR in the least but nope. At least I got useful three star servants.

NP2 here with 30SQ Time to save for the next Hokusai banner

I'm fine with a B rank servant. Luckly I have saved a lot of golden Fou's for him to make up for his bad damage as good as possible. Will be fun with him even so that I already have a Gramps

NP1 in't bad, but if you have an NP5 Hundred Faces or a Shiki then they will outdamage him by far

I know this vids a month old, but what are the best 5* assassin to look forward to? I have np5 izo but this video convinced me not to waste mats on his skills, and instead wait for a better assassin
