@@UchihaPercy Svalinn would probably be a shielder if not a grand shielder if there is such a roll. He is the one who holds the shield to protect the world from the sun in ancient norse mythos. He rides on Sol's chariot holding the shield between the world and her to stop it from being consumed in flame.

They are his godspeed, his invincibility, his one on one fair duel challenge thing, the armor Hephaestus made for him, his chariot, and his shield.

@@MrDibara I love Waver for the simple reason that he decided to randomly spook me and has now a new Rider-bff. Big goal now.. getting Iskandar somehow. Waver needs his King back! I'm a bloody beginner, so Waver deciding to drop by is a huge help. (Especially since Mash isn't all that good till end of Camelot i've been told) urrently somewhere in the middle of that and boy are there some bs fights. The big Assassin Ghost and Gawain are the main offenders. Mordred was kinda fun and Tristan completely nuked me (till i checked what i gotta do against him).

Early FGO: Bring Herc in, click the red card and beat everything. Late FGO: Bring Scadi in, click everything that is in green on the screen and beat everything. Yes, everything that's green including the skills xD.

On finding out his character is SSR, Toru Furukawa, Achilles's VC, was seen screaming "When?! (is gacha starting) while clutching his phone. The next day, he tweeted showing off his Achilles MNPed AND grailed. And in Battle of New York event, Achilles shows up as enemy in a challenge stage. Furukawa-san was seen tweeting happily about it "the stronger Achilles is, the happier it makes me."

He's awesome. He's still good even without Skadi. He's been such a great help both in story and farming. I only rolled apocrypha banner for Chiron at first but Achilles came twice before Chiron did LOL. Lucky to have him at NP2

I've been able to farm effectively with him, Hektor, and Dioscuri by using Dioscuri as the main DPS, Achilles as a make-shift shield, and Hektor to help with NP chains, boosting my team's power and giving them a damage cut.

Got him today in the morning, and I love using him

I love Achilles because i always loved the greek mythos so i was going to try and summon him no matter what but since he's amazing on top of that i NEED HIM NOW

Finally hit the servant jackpot today. Glad to have him, plus already having skadi is a big plus.

The second servant I'll be rolling for this year after getting Hokusai. Excited!

Good luck to those rolling for Achilles. Meanwhile though, I'll be waiting a year and a half until I can get MY favorite hero from the Iliad: Paris, Prince of Troy, -Floof Trap Shota,- Judge of Goddesses, Hero Killer, and the SLAYER of Achilles~

I loved him in the anime and I am totally going to Summon him(hopefully, i on't have Unlimited Budget Works). I think A is a good rank for him overall, but if you can pull off Double Hottie he easily becomes EX. Also Fun Fact: He shares the same English Voice Actor as Claude from Fire Emblem 3 Houses(aka the Best Lord, Fight Me).

Thanks for the review! As much as I need a rider that isn’t marie or a 3*, must hold out for skadi! And then hoard until pollux and castor drop on NA.

I got spooked majorly with this literally still at okeanos, and i got him just after he got added to the story pool.

The fact that this guy has no interludes and strengthen quest and still one of the best rider in the game. Definition of badass.

Worth noting that Achilles does just fine with a Single Skadi. So if you're short on funds (and with the pandemic...who isn't.), it's totally fine to pick him OR Skadi and still get a huge return on Investment. Especially since the next year adds a decent number of "budget" Quick supports that can help him blitz quests. A friend of mine has been doing Achilles/Skadi/Merlin since her release and clears CQs without much issue at all.

The Gacha has been kind to me this month. I was able to get Achilles in two 10x rolls and got my 1st copy of Chiron on my 5th. I even got to NP4 Nezha, NP4 Liz, my 1st copy of Karna, NP2 Chiron and NP 2 Suzuka. Best birthday weekend ever! Having said this, I am now prepared for disappointment when i don't get Skadi.

I love achilies so much and pairing him with chiron will be interesting Also considering the fact that I am wanting quick to be good.

Whelp I got an NP3 Achilles. Honestly was just rolling the banner for the CEs. Second ten roll he showed up twice along with a Hektor at the end XD. Showed up again a few rolls later. Heracles also popped up twice. Guess them Greek heroes wanted to one up each other XD Sad that Chiron didn't show though :P

Been waiting for him for months now. I'll roll for him and Mordred (who has kept avoiding my calls for 2+ years). I'll throw everything into Apocrypha. I hope it works.

Just got Achilles today after doing 2 completely random single rolls on the story banner and I'm like what, lol! The funny part is that I was contemplating on rolling on a banner for Medb who's also a rider servant but decided, nah I'd rather get any other rider than her and lo and behold I got one of the best riders in the game, especially now that Skadi's a thing and he was like my number 3 most wanted servant of this year!

Man, torn on this one. I love the character and I'm drooling over his kit (and I don't have a good AoE Rider yet), but I am no whale and most of my servants play to Buster Crit, not Quick. MHXA and Support List Skadi would probably work, though...

All I did was roll for some CEs. Wanted that purdy Jeanne one. Two 10-rolls. In the middle of the second one, a Rider suddenly turns gold. I sigh, resigning myself to a fate of getting yet another Astolfo. Then lo and behold, Achilles shows up! And then the next one, a Caster, turns gold. I am now the proud owner of an NP4 CasGil. The King of Overwork must love me. Oh and I got an Achilles of course. He's so much fun, even with Waver/Merlin. Can't wait for Skadi now.

Chose him as my free ssr today. I don’t regret anything !! Best boy carries

I personally think how you normally rate hero’s, he should be an A+. That taunt NP charge ability is super unique(valuable), his bond ten is party wide invincibility/30% NP damage, his evade is as good or better than Cu, he has so much Snyergy from skills and passives, plus he can NP loop.

I am both excited as all hell and terrified beyond belief. I've been saving since Abbys banner last year and soon my dream husbando will come home! At least I hope so hehe😥😥😥

Maid Alter also focuses on Quick cards, is a rider, and does have a skill that boosts her team's quick card effectiveness. Do you feel like she just doesn't pair too well with him since she's more about dealing damage herself?

I hope to get him during GSSR.. still saving for Skadi 1st...

Part of me wants to roll for him, since the apoc banner is my best chance, but I shouldn't because he's also in the general pool, while Skadi is limited.

Sneaky Skadi was a nice touch there. XD Also, was it really "function" or *fanservice* that made you pick Alexander as one of his supports? ;) I'll definitelly roll for both him and Chiron, since I really love those characters. I'm just not sure if I'll be aiming for Skadi, because the ones I have my eyes on right now are Sigurd, Brynhildr and the Valkyries. BUT HEY! If I get _SUPER_ lucky, I may try to get her. She _is_ worth it, no one should deny that.

I was spooked by Achilles, and since I had the materials and QP laying around him I got him to level 90 and 10/10/10'd him in instant, just 'cuz I could. It felt real nice to be able to do that at least ONCE in FGO. xD

So, he is a great Rider, and he can be used for Farming and for tanking the Boss, plus, he has great skill, well, can't wait to try to summon him, I really need a powerful 5* Rider, since I don't have one, my best ones Riders for now are Ushi and Georgios.

Still, even though the joy was rather dulled by the pain of how much I spent, I am glad to have him, he's an awesome character in Apocrypha, has some epic lore from his mythology, and seems like an amazing servant. I really need to get Skadi to max his offensive potential though, and she's the only servant I wanted more than him this entire year (perhaps he was tied as second most wanted with Shi Huangdi). I really hope he's worth it after all my suffering, and that I can get Skadi as well to achieve my main goals for the year in FGO. Quick's ascendancy draws near! AKHILLEUS KOSMOS!!! (having this as an NP with him as a shielder in-game would be so amazing, it's one of the coolest conceptual NPs out there in the Fateverse I'd argue. Too bad it's only a bond CE in FGO).

i find it so wierd that almost everyone's been getting achilles and other 5stars on their first roll. i am one of these people. and as an f2p in need of a reliable farmer i could not be happier

@@asianjesus9813 Well, I got absolutely destroyed by the gacha to get him, but I do know of quite a few people who got him easily, sometimes in just several tickets. Then again, I think observing it online creates a bias where you think many people got him (or any new SSR) surprisingly easily because those who get them easily are more likely to post about it, so it varies. Achilles is one of those servants who isn't SO sought out that people will spend or save a ton for him (which usually breeds more horror stories like mine) since he's in the general pool, so maybe that plays a part in accentuating the bias of thinking he was easier to roll than usual for many people. Who knows.

If not for the fact I'm saving for Scadi, I'd roll for him. My roster of viable quick supports is pretty thin.

I have Quetzalcoatl and Maid Alter so I’m not in a particular need for a SSR rider but he does look very strong.

Yeah hes good, but does he have Dio's voice actor? Didn't thinks so. Ozymandio is still the best.
