Just realised that she is the only servant within Apocrypha to not be apart of the main story of Fgo, even Avicebron has been in it. Feels bad man

Despite the rare scenario that you would use both, she actually pairs very well with Shakespeare. Her first skill also has a mental debuff resist down on all enemies, which allows masters to use Shakespeare's NP more efficiently.

I love her 3rd asc outfit but I don't like how she gets massive ponytails, why can't we have asc 3 with her hair down :(

Been playing fgo for Jack, best gurl

Arjuna, one of the best servants to pair with Semi. Has AoE Buster NP to utilize third skill, has star gen ability to activate third skill, and shares three arts cards with Semi allowing for more arts chains and more NP's. Merlin and Semi also pair perfectly, since Merlin makes stars, and Semi covers one of the few things Merlin can't do, which is straight defense buffs. So having these three together, all you gotta do is arts chain when you can and you'll be blasting off NP's like a rapid-fire grenade launcher. Emiya is also a great damage option for similar reason to Arjuna. And Martha is good support too. Pretty much any servant with a Buster NP and three arts cards.

Semiramis is an excellent servant regardless of her class as an assassin for her sheer flexibility of roles from farming, to aggressive stalling, to her high facecard compatibility with the major supports (Waver and Merlin), to cancelling boss mechanics, or just buster support. She is an excellent rider farmer who will outperform Gray on same NP lvls in both damage and NP gain, and will outdamage Cleopatra if you stack commonly found Atk buffs due to Semiramis having buster steroids and overchargeable np dmg multipliers that activate before her NP (Both buff types rarer than just Atk up). She is also an excellent offensive staller due to the defense buff being on her highly spammable NP when placed in def-stack based stall teams (Ex. Semiramis+Jeanne/Mash/Merlin). Post rankup, she is literally a buff-removal mechanics canceller who literally makes the CCC 0KP Kiara fight look like a joke piñata with a ton of hp while also giving the last bossfight in Gray's own event a middle finger. -"she can't buster chain" me: she's not a buster chain monkey, you are supposed to spam her np. That's why she has a 3xA deck, territory creation EX, np gain buff 40% and 40% battery. -"Her damage is low" So is Ereshkigal, Kiara and Okita if you have them at NP1. Semiramis even ranks up to a 400% buster np aoe multiplyer which puts her damage to normal levels -"She doesn't generate stars" If you need facecard to generate your stars, then you are doing it wrong. Bring a 2030 on a buffer if you need stars for your strat/comp. Or a starbomb, which already happened as a welfare CE in multiple events. -"her third skill needs 8 stars" This skill is effectively a party-wide Merlin S3 that applies even to your backline so you can literally plug a 2nd or 3rd buster dps to take advantage of it all in one turn. Depending on comp, Semiramis is a more potent Buster support than even Merlin due to being able to buff 3-4 servants with it at once. -"her S3 doesn't always land" I use semiramis regularly, this skill misses about 2-3 times a year in year-round content. Often, I don't need her S1 to land S3. You will fail Cleopatra's self buff more often.

Reason why I'm going to roll for Semiramis: She's not the same Semiramis that appeared to Fate/Apocrypha. While she does of the memories of the one that partook in the Great Holy Grail War, she see those memories belong to another person and won't be attracted to Shirou Amakusa even if you have him in your roster. So technically you have her as your own personal waifu without feeling guilty for Amakusa.

@@bassgx1459 Um actually its implied many of the servants do have memories of previous Grail Wars like Hakuno's servants from Fate Extra (With Nero Bride as an exception), Fate Zero servants, Apocrypha servants, even from original stay night if you listen from their dialogue and interlude. It just depends on the Servant in question if they choose to embrace these memories of the previous Holy Grail Wars as their own or not as some of them chose not to like Semiramis from the Grand Order.

It's because she has buster up on s3 and np up before np damage on her np, which is overchargeable. For some reason, nobody talks about this part, but both of these boosts are harder to find in common buffers. Merlin, Waver, and Skadi all add Atk Up, but only Merlin and a small handful of buster supports reach the realm of 50% buster boosts. Even fewer give np dmg boost directly.

Before the video even begins, I have to say: *the Apocrypha soundtrack is eternal.* 😌 Hmm... I was really considering whether to get Semiramis on this banner or wait for the Apocrypha event to come. I just really like Semiramis' character as a whole and I would very much like to have her on my team. But given your analysis, I think I'm gonna wait until later to summon her and at the moment prioritize Asagami Fujino, who is basically the reason I started playing F/GO NA in the first place. Also, no, that was no coincidence, she compliments Amakusa's kit on purpose. XD

Funny how you mention that Amakasa Shirou's kit compliments hers very well at the end. William Shakespeare's does too. :D

what i like about her is that she has 3 arts card, which means she fits perfectly into the arts team. 3 arts card will produce fast NP charging for the team. her 1st skill and 3rd skill are great too, lowers debuff resistant for top class servants who have high resistant to debuff, as well as drop buster resist by half to add 50% damage for buster NP as well as buster crit damage. she will definitely be in my team for killing servants

I attempted to get her again with the few tickets I got from the event and my last ticket had a gold colored Assassin show up. It was Wu. That was a punch to the gut.

I know this is a semi spot light video but that kama towards the end had all my attention

My cousin got her for me while I was at basic training😐

I honestly thought she would be pretty meh, until I see her third skill. I got woke for a moment there.

Still recovering from failing to get Jalter, so i thought i'd just go for a ticket or two in hopes of some CEs. Little did i know that Amakusa sitting in my account was already acting as a Catalyst and 1 ticket was enough to reunite them. Even more surprising though is throwing a second ticket and getting NP2 Semi.

For teams you can just go the apocrypha rute, a team of Shakespeare and Amakusa works perfect, amakusa has revelation for the stars semi needs, shakes has buster up and np battery with star drop up for semi, both shake and semi have arts decks which lets them spam np, and all of them have buster np so more damage, i think they made semiramis like this because of this composition

Gonna have to wait for my man Achilles. He and Chiron are the next servants on my radar

I hope I can get her she one of my favorite assassins.

As of now, she’s my #4 most wanted servant this year.

Probably won't pull crazy hard for Semiramis. But hey, probably going to end up pulling on the Assassin GSSR coming up so we'll see if she shows up there. Some tickets will go to this banner and will save the quartz for others. Good luck to those aiming for her when we get to that event though.

Got her at NP2 while rolling for CEs today. Let's see how this goes!

She's my first 5 star assassin, and the third ssr i got from gacha since started playing.

as tempting as she is with her aoe assassin np... i just got np2 shuten and leveled up fumma soo gonna have to pass on her (also in a year we get Gray). SHIKI I AM COMING FOR U BABY!

For those who are wondering why Apocrypha related stuff now, subtract two years&few weeks and picture what was happening in Jp side. Yes, Apocrypha anime was running back then (till 2017 dec). That's THE reason for Astolfo's new outfit and upcoming Apo event as well. Oh and some weird reference about Amakusa being busy in the Christmas event too (he was inside of the holy grail in anime while the event was on-going).

I wasn't planning on rolling for Semiramis, but it has occurred to me that I've successfully managed to obtain every other AoE assassin so far (even grailing my Cleo) so I almost feel obligated to continue the trend and keep my meme status of having all of them.

I was pulling for Florence but ended up with her. Might as well put her to good use. Shame I don't have an Amakusa to keep her company, though.

Jus pulled her! Single summon as well! Brand new player here. (3 days old) 😃😃😃 So far Im using: Emiya 4* and Semi 5* as I go through the story. Loving this game! Semi is one of my fav servants after seeing her in the anime.

Rolling for Semiramis next year seems the most advantageous proposition to get the most from her with the interlude.

I was aiming for some of the servants on the 2nd pickup banner, decided to go with tickets I use just one ticket, not expecting much of anything and Semi here gives me a spook like no other Needless to say, I'm quite content, I needed a good Assassin anyway

I am rather on the fence going to pull for her. I use Assassin Emiya as my main assassin (with the CE conversation on the hot sands equipped on him). I do use and really love using Berserker Lancelot and Arjuna (who I am working to 100 him right now because he is still kicking everything’s butt). As he is a buster, I can see her being useful (coupled with Arjuna’s second skill giving him 15 stars) and Assassini’s ability to get crit stars on his buster’s high count (or berserker Lancelot because he is literally made to swim in stars) I think I could get semi to use her third skill often enough, but I’m not too sure. If I do skip her, I’m just going to save up getting Arthur or wait a whole year and more for Altjuna.

Good civ mate. Arjuna was my first level 100 and gold fou, though Gorgon takes the credit for being first 10/10/10 even if he is now too. My Karna and Pārvatī are both level 100 now as well and I’m currently gold fou’ing Karna. Lord Rāma is level 90 and my next grail target. Best of luck for Arjuna Alter. I’m looking to get him as well.

It seems like she is good with Yu MiaoYi for those who never leveled her 2nd skill to max (even when maxed, the cooldown is something else) Another servant to go good with her is of course Arjuna Alter.

Lucksacked an NP2 on a single ten roll. I actually love her in a poison/stall team. Stick her alongside a Waver or Mash to charge her NP and drip feed her Crit stars, and have someone who can take advantage of all that poison to dish out nutso DPS. In short: Semiramis (w/Maiden Leading) Robin Hood (w/ either Formal Craft or Sumo) Waver/Mash (w/2030) BACKLINE Serenity (w/ either Golden Carp/Room Guard) CasGil (w/Kaleidoscope) Merlin for the lols.

Just got two of her in one roll

I think Semi would make good team with King Hassan and Jack since you don't need to worry about Stars with Jack around and Buster resist down can help King Hassan hit harder

I generally do not put DPS with 2 diff colored NP together. A better way would be to bring 2030 on a support for KH and Semiramis. KH and Semi will fit together because both are buster and you can bring merlin or waver with these 2 with a 2030. (Or both with plug)

Cleopatra + Semiramis would be absolute insanity regarding aoe buster damage against riders.

I legit thought she was already in the game but apparently this is the year of Fate Apocrypha.

@@kosmosXcannon I do. I just hate the fact I have to care about the demerit when bringing her at all. For most people at NP 1 its hard to have her do any decent NP damage without her 3rd skill so they need to plan ahead. Or sometimes maybe u wanna use Semiramis's Np first wave and then use the 3rd skill last for Raikou's NP. U need to think about what second wave servant to bring with you. Without that stupid demerit shes easily an A This is why people want skadi so bad. U dont even need to aquire a brain to clear 3 waves in 3 turns or a boss

God I want her, but so many other banners to consider. For anyone rolling for her, remember you can try later or again during the apocrypha event precampaign, where she has a rateup with her boyfriend, sunny curry boi, and her rival Daddy issues, with Atalanta as 4 star pickup.

I think you’ve greatly under estimated her NP spam ability. Other “AOE” assassins may be stronger, but none of the others have I found to be quite as good at looping NPs. Her skills and 3 arts cards that hit 4 times each are fantastic for this. When I started JP, I remember borrowing other Semis for getting through several story missions because of how many riders there are. For me she is at least a B+. She could be better in some areas for sure, but I think she fulfills a long wanted niche that previously could only be fitted by cheaper alternatives that are arguably better in several aspects, but lack that aforementioned ability to loop NPs effectively. She needs quite a bit of setup to loop, she's not as easy to loop with as some archers are or Dantes for example so I think calling her a looper is a bit much. She can spam and clear waves well, which I'm not debating, she may be the best pure farmer of the 5* assassins. But my issue is that she doesn't really do anything else aside from that and farming can just as easily be done by Gray or an AoE Alter Ego or Zerker. The other AoE assassins may not be able to spam as much as her but they also offer more versatility and power. The appmedia tierlist in my opinion overfocuses on farming and kinda ignores the rest of the game / servant kits, the way I rate servants is a bit different. Although the way the Appmedia tierlist is structured an A+ from them is a B on my scale so we aren't that far apart actually lol

@@GAReviews Yeah, I noticed that they like to separate servants into different sections based on roles of like Non-attack supporters, AOE attackers, and single target attackers. Factoring all 5 star servants into one all encompassing list (which is what you do) makes a little more sense to put her at a B. There are a plethora of servants such as Archer Jeanne, Edmond, Parvati, Kiara and Serkelot are more versatile farmers overall in the grand scheme of farming, but they don't get class resistance against riders. And the one's that have advantage like the AOE berserkers can be tricky to keep alive for long. Especially since it seems rider enemies crit as often as my own rider servants. Passionlip is really tanky, but I can't get her to spam NP with her buster centric deck. Also I don't have any of the AOE Alter Egos on my NA account yet. I've probably never thought much about Semi's lacking of star generation ability due to me using her in conjunction with other Assassins that generate stars well like Fuma and MHX. TLDR; NP batteries and NP gain are my kink.

Absolutely agree. Whereas servants like Tamamo become worthless the more SSRs and SuperBG/Scopes you own, Semiramis is one whose value appreciates with your Roster. JP whales harder than NA which may be why she is ranked higher in JP.

@@luxeadawnlight5745 Interesting coming back to this and hearing your perspective. I don't think servants like Tamamo became worthless, because of the number of SSRs and SuperBG/Scopes you own, but because of the introduction Castoria, an overall much more OP arts support. As for Semiramis, she was pretty alright under specific circumstances, but even back then, she was still pretty wet noodle. It's weird coming back to this post to me now. Because I rarely ever use AOE assassins anymore. You really do need multiple NP levels on them to be effective. I am generally more efficient using Zerkelot and double Skadi, unless it is some kind of long enemy wave of constant riders. Wavers or Merlins with Semi probably had a place, and are still quite usable. AOE assassins always have been quite niche.

@@SolidBren Nah, Castoria isn't out yet in NA, Tamamo just doesn't work so well because she has no charge to offer, her def buff is only for her, and frankly, 2Skadi+Quick DPS is better for bursting dps rn than Tamamo+Arts DPS comps. For stalling, Tamamo is outstalled by Jeanne-QSH-Merlin (85% invul uptime+2stuns) vs comps where you replace any of these 3 w Tamamo. The only use I see for Tamamo is drain comps but her lack of team defense still bites hard and the only reason to use a drain stall is if your fight pierces invul on NP, since funny enough, remove buffs on NP can't cripple invul stalls if you are willing to compromise a bit of invul uptime with Post-rankup Semiramis and line Semi's spammy NP with the boss's. As for Semi-usage, I can farm raiders great with her. But most of my uses of her is as 2nd/3rd Merlin since my roster is buster heavy. Especially potent for fights where I would like 2 superscoped dps to NP in 1 turn to burst stuff down.

@@nightshrine4257 She's honestly not that bad; being able to taunt all day long and face tank NPs with one of those taunts is pretty strong. The only thing out of place is that buster buff, which will likely get a rank up fairly soon. As for her NP, yeah that's gonna get buffed sooner or later as well.

@@nineflames2863 Well most people already have her at 10/10/10 so yeah shes basically just a sitting duck who taunts everyone but Jesus Christ I wish they would let me use someone else for Aqua's sake. Instead of a rank up if they ever make Mash a 5 star they better change that shit. Im glad u can use her OG version outside of Main story cuz People were so pissed and worried about her skills being there forever Fucking Galahad

Thanks for reminding me that Caster Nero can ignore berserkers. All this time I kept thinking it only worked against riders.
