@@kaiser0923 You can also tell it was Emet due to his finger snap. It was the exact same method he used to bring Y'shtola back from the lifestream that he used to bring you back from where you were sent by Elidibus during the Warrior of Light fight.

Nah :/ Japanese still express way more emotions, the way how graha voice ,,breaks" when talks and the way how Elidibus proudly shouts English is good but imo no chance compared to japanese

@@piconio well to each their own. I prefer english because I can relate more to the shown emotion. Like japanese might show more emotion overall but when I can understand on which word a certain emotion is placed, its more relateable for myself^^

Even though the 14 seat azem was stripped of his name and honor emet made sure that his name lived on in the source, Azim the dawn father, azeyma the warden who is also the goddess of the sun, emet I suspect spread these

I don't think Hades had anything to do with keeping the name alive, seems to be more so on the idea to adventure and help that lived on and became dubbed as Azeyma, too bad we can't actually benefit from the prayers to Azeyma though lol

Vyse Dynablade I don’t think so. The faction of Ancients that created Hydaelyn was directly opposed to the faction that created Zodiark. Since the congregation was directly responsible for creating Zodiark, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense.

@@GabrielCosta-si9nq azeyma is very likely a reference to azem all things considered. They wouldn't be forgotten. Hydaelyn doesnt erase people memories, even. Just because the people who summoned her were against the convocation doesnt mean they would be erased from everything, even heavily distorted.

this is my first introduction to you! i loved this reaction, i just did this all last night and honestly i sobbed lol when the line Elidibus spoke "it's a beautiful day and you're not here to see it" all i can think of is all the players and just anyone who passed away recently, who didn't get to this point in the story to hear G'raha's words. still, gone as they are, i know they are in our hearts, for those we've lost and can yet save. I love you guys

Gods, I'm crying again. I only just recovered from this patch. I hope we get to see your reaction for the remaining part to this story

It's fantastic watching another grown man cry at these cutscenes, makes me feel better inside. This expansion hit me so much harder than I thought a game would ever be able to do. I may not have been there when the servers opened, but ill be there when they close.

I'm not an emotional person by any means but even I teared up during a few of the scenes in 5.3. There's nothing wrong with being emotionally invested in a well-written story.

"The rains have ceased, and we have been blessed with another day. But you are not here to see it..." fuckin broke the dam my dude. i fuckin bawled.

This patch broke my heart. Bittersweet moments like the promise of reunion we give the Exarch or Y'shtola gave to Runar hurt in a very special way. The uncertainty just hurts.

The elidibus monologue never fails to make me tear up, there's so much emotion in it.

When Elidibus summoned the heroes to become the Warrior of Light, I counted 14 of those rings. How fitting.

You can really feel Elidibus's desperation

i wont lie the part with g'raha tia in the tower made me bawl my fucking eyes out. i felt like i lost my very best friend...

The voice saying the incarnation during the summoning scene before the boss battle. First I thought it was Hythlodaeus but than I watched the scene with Emet-Selchs Amaurotians voice again and I realised that nope, guess what he was the one doing a talisman for wol back in the days to remember them by and preserve their 'heart' when no one else wanted to do it. And you know who cried their fcking eyes out when they realised it? Thatd right, it was me 😭

been on hiatus for like 2 years, just to see every update from trailer and youtube, and when i see the ShB and this finale, im crying when i see the exarch become statue like your reaction, now im going to re-sub to cry again when i reach this point by myself.

It's weird seeing the cut-scenes where everyone is looking up at the super tall Au-ra, especially since I play Lalafell and it's the exact opposite lol. The part where the WoL and Graha raise the staff is reversed for Lala's, with him standing up and holding the upper part of the staff.

Happy to see I wasn't the only one who broke down during this (and the next video part too). This just made Shadowbringers the best game in FF history. (Yeah its just an x-pac, not full game, but its still a contained story for the most part)

The experience in this patch has been very very moving, seriously, every time I see the end I really want to cry.

Are we the bad guys? We are Azem the traveler.

FF3 is the most underrated game in the series imo, especially the OST. I love G'raha man. I really like how he's a unique character to XIV but still steeped in FF3 nostalgia.

He makes the Perfect Cell face on his way out, getting disintegrated.

Dude Emet and Elidibus were such amazing antagonists. 2 of the best if not the best in the hundreds of games I have played in my life. I can say that with complete confidence.

This expansion made me tear up so many times. I don't remember the last time in any medium where a story and it's characters made me feel this much.

40:20 Lots of people there without a cutscene icon. You can tell who is still recovering. I think just about everyone needed a few mins after THAT to collect themselves. SO DAMN GOOD. (Yes I'm here watching it again and decided to comment again. Still hits just as hard!)

I'm just remembering that I got flung around like a ragdoll during this fight (five deaths). I need to get better at this game, but then again I went in blind and I was too nervous to think straight. In retrospect, the mechanics are simple, but I'm stupid.

That would explain the player's great power, despite being a shard, and I don't think the echo has much to do with it. Others have the echo, but only the player is so powerful

@@valenten89 Not everyone was an Amaroutine, for sure, but Ascian is just a word used for the elder race of the unsundered star. There were civilizations outside of Amarout, but all of them were that "perfect being" that the ascians we know remember and attempt to bring back.

These last scenes have note voiced dialogue then my 30 hrs of playing realm reborn lol

Why do I keep watching these, they just make me cry over G'raha every damn time.

Had to slow down the footage to double check but your first death with the slow walk you actually would have died regardless, basically that first attack he does sets everyone to 1 hp and puts Living Dead on everyone. You were just a sliver of HP away from being healed to max health and the debuff wore off and killed you right before those circles exploded, so not much you could've done there. Awesome reaction by the way! I cried so many times this patch...

My favorite part of being a samurai is getting to use the limit break. Makes me sad to see the gauge full and none of the DPS use it, like a bowl full of cold soft serve vanilla chocolate twist ice cream on a hot summer day that goes untouched.

You don't want to do DPS Limit Breaks on SoS. He doesn't take damage and gets a massivebuff

Why aren't you using Blackest Night on every AOE? Those are free attacks.

Tbn is not a "free attack" if it pops it's still neutral to your personal dps because the mp is still being used. It only feels like an increase when you use it before BW and it pops to give you a "free" EoD without using up all the MP in the burst window. The quick regeneration of MP during BW is what allows it to feel that way. But TBN used correctly is neutral.

I'm personally wondering why you would want to play that zoomed in. It makes it so much harder to see a lot of mechanics, especially if you're doing Savage Raids or stuff like that.
