About the Frog Suit and Head: Because the fates are in Shadowbringers areas, this event is the one and only way for a Free Trail character to actually get the outfit! Just a kinda interesting tidbit.

In the same way, the Kamuy fifes are the only way for a Free Trial player to get those mounts (until they add Stormblood to the Trial next year). Trial players can't get the Nine Tails though since the quest for that is in Kugane.

@@ultrakillyuri If you have a group who own the game and can carry in unsynced trials, it probably makes more sense to just wait until you can grind them out yourself and spend your tomes on some of the other stuff. But if you don't have a group (or just don't mind grinding the extra tomes) then it wouldn't be a bad idea to get them here.

Just for clarity's sake, the Warrior of Light card for 100 tomes is one of the special cards with Dissidia FF artwork that aren't required for the triple triad mount if anyone's going for that. The video shows ShB Warrior of Light card, which is another card that's kind of a pain in the ass to farm from extreme or otherwise so personally I'd be more excited about that. Then again I have both so, eh.

If you had to choose only one Kamuy fife, I'd recommend taking the Legendary/Shinryu one, and second Lunar Kamuy. The rest can farmed pretty quickly, but those two both have the longest unskippable phases.

Also fairly certain Tsukiyomi has a phase that pretty much kills you instantly if you're alone and can't skip it. Was a while since I did it too

Only if you plan on seriously stacking up to sell afterwards, otherwise if you're just going for one of each for yourself it's like 1500 tombstones

I feel like it's because this is the 10th Anniversary Edition. Dunno if we actually get another Treasure Trove before 6.5? Usually these start a month before the next patch

The event is set to start on Sunday Aug 27! Edit: Just to avoid any confusion, there are two Warrior of Light cards. The one I show in the video is available from a Shadowbringers trial (because I don't have the other one yet). They are two different cards, and the one available from the Moogle Tomestone event is *NOT* available from the trial.

Definitely gonna have to farm to get me some of these mounts, what a loadout! The only thing I was was there is the treasure maps that guarantee dungeons. I'm always happy to spend some leftover tomestones on those when they're in the rotation.

7:49 I want to point out that I believe the Kamui mounts are for the Free trial Players to have easy access to the collection completion mount when STORMBLOOD will be added in 6.5

Was never gone. Uploading a little less because there's simply less to talk about. I have a lot of videos I want to make, but I'm taking it slow. For 7.0 there are lots of guides that need reworking, guides that are missing and new ideas as for what to cover. I simply like to wait until I actually have something I can add value to at the right time!

@@Jolsn That's very fair! I'm just glad to see your videos again. Your video on how people actually make gil, re-lit my passion on making gil. It was rough making gil trying to do the "meta". Now I just do whatever I want and my own little corner of the market and I'm drowning in gil and sitting with a medium house and about to buy a medium or large FC house.

I try taking breaks from ffxiv, but every time there's a treasure trove event I go nuts.

The Kamuis are a steal if you dont have them. Unlike Heavensward EX trials, almost all the Stormblood trials are specifically designed so they can't be soloed.

All of them are soloable except for Susano, although Shinryu and Tsukoyomi are tricky to do, and the droprates aren't that good so yeah definitely pick them up from the tome event instead.

@@MisterL777 You have to wait for the bar to fill up in that phase, no way around it. You're meant to kill the add that currently has the glowing orb and that will give you vril, but as I said it's not necessary so you can pretty much just sit there and wait for that phase to be over.

I'm hoping to get at least a couple Blue Mage Alliances for the achievements, if nothing else. This is a great time to catch up on fun content that could otherwise be hard to queue into in some worlds

I've been waiting for your video hoping by some magic that my huge list was not as necessary to grind as I feared. but alas! the easy to grind things are the ones I already have easily grinded! prae time, baybee!

Im personally going to be farming those partitions. Not only do I want em for my house but they’re crazy expensive on my server, price usually fluctuates between 300-500k.

Gonna have to farm these things a lot since I don't have quite a few, but I will definitely get the ones that are difficult to obtain and of course special event only item.

I was praying that they would include the original goobbue horn for the 10th anniversary but still a very good looking trove event.

If you chose to save tomestones to buy partitions after the event ends please note the vendor will only be here until 7.0 comes out, after that the tomes will be dead weight

What's the best way to farm this event? I don't want to spend a ton of extra time doing it the hard way because I don't know a better way. Solo friendly preferably since I can't get my friends to play this with me.

"depending on the server that you're on" might be good to mention that people can travel between servers and their region's datacenters to get things much cheaper

Is there a time even currently running ? And how long ?

Plenty of things i haven't gotten yet, happy cause i could get them relatively easy than normal ways to obtain them but also sad cause i'm in OCE DC

Those are languages, not servers or regions. If you put your character in the add-characters channel you should get access to the channels for the server/data center you're in.

Looking at some of the

Titania extreme is one of the easier Shadowbringers extreme and is run a lot on PF. Most runs take like two minutes if everyone in the group does decent damage and you skip the add phase.

If you mean the top/shirt I believe that’s the male wedding top. There are 3 different varieties based on what level wedding you pick.

Good thing I have max blu, but it looks like this is more aimed at higher end content

I thought the Shadowbringer Warrior of Light can only be from the Trial? Is it really in Gold Booster Pack? I opened 1000 of them never got that one O.O

There are two different cards, one from the trial and one from the cards. But they are completely separate

Took me 1.1million MGP for my WoL card. Buy 100 or 200 packs to get as many exclusives as you can, but man .. just tomestone it.

You can only use them on this event, but you can access these rewards until after the next event

I'm a FT player, and I only just got into Heavensward so I don't have any dungeons or maps unlocked yet there. What would be my best method to farm tomestones for the event with only ARR content unlocked?

Haul ass and finish Alexander since last time this event ran, that was the go-to trial. One or two minutes to clear in a synced party with mostly Blue Mages, with each clear dropping 3 of the event currency. 100 runs and you can get everything you'd reasonably want.

As someone on the free trial who's almost done with ARR (I think, currently just fought Garuda I know I still have to go through the slog of patches between ARR & Heavenward) how bad of a time am I going to have with farming tomestones? 😂

Actually not that bad at all, you should unlock the Crystal Tower raids. Syrcus tower is probably one of the better ones for everyone without blu mages maxed

Honestly, it's not terrible. You can get a decent amount of tomestones for the Crystal Tower raids (which you'll have to do before you get to Heavensward) and everything in the MSQ roulette (which is the 2 dungeons and the trial you did right at the end of ARR).

Go to Limsa Lominsa and ask to join a BLU party since you can't make your own. Blue Mages can speedrun dungeons and trials within minutes. Last time this event ran, the go-to trial was from Alexander and it took about a minute or two at most to clear, with each clear giving out 3 of the event currency.

So how do I Farm these Tomestones this is my first event ever for ff14

That's the Shadowbringers Warrior of Light card. This is a different one, although I show the Shadowbringers one in the video initially.

The Skybuilders' Scrip items are always worth it, takes way too long to get them otherwise. I don't like PvP, so I'll probably buy the PvP ones. Not sure about the rest, I'll be sure to get a lot of it, but I know I want to do most of the content that gives these items normally anyway. It's still great to avoid doing some of the more tedious parts of the game and I'll be sure to farm the hell out of it, just like last time. Wouldn't recommend any of the Extreme mounts, those are all early extremes and you can easily get those in an unsynced party and there's enough to grind for in this event already w/o these mounts. Check party finder for those. Hard disagree on the Fae Gwiber. Dancing Plague EX can be completed in 2 minutes while skipping pretty much all mechanics (including add phase) and having a tank invuln/mitigate through the lightning tether attacks. Just farm it in Dancing Plague EX with one tank and 7 DPS, there are parties up pretty much every day. There are some good guides on YT that teach you how to skip the entire fight, more or less. Not sure about the Orchestrion Roles. Sure, might be worth it, but they're bound to get cheaper as supplies increase from the event. So consider just buying them off of the MB during the event. Archaeotania doesn't just take 5 or 10 minutes, expect to be there for at least 20. The time limit is 30 minutes, not 15. This one has a lot of health and it's not the most popular FATE, so you won't always get enough people to clear. Generally, don't just compare it with the MB price, think of what content you have to run to get it outside of this event and if you want to do that, including the odds of getting it. If you like it, try getting it the normal way. I, at least, prefer not to grind everything in the event. I very much remember the previous moogle tomestone event and how tedious/boring it was to just grind the same fight over and over again just because it's the fastest way of getting it. Fastest Method of Farming Moogle Tombstones: Pandaemonium - Asphodelos: The First Circle (P1N). Min. iLvl 560. Preferred iLvl 625. 1 Tank, 7 DPS. 1 Moogle tombstone p/ Min = 3 for a 3 min Fight. Bring at least 1 support DPS (SMN > DNC > RDM > RPR) to heal/shield/revive if needed. Don’t listen to the BS elitist players that force an obnoxious arbitrary ilvl requirement of 660 (the current cap). It’s just a way to try to ensure only the most elite and skilled players who have done endgame content can join in an attempt to clear a couple of seconds faster (max: 30s). This can be done easily and just as fast by people whose ilvl is 625. Skill and knowledge > ilvl and gear elitists.

the fae gwiber is a 2 min fight that almost always has a pf up, I would not spend tomes on it as it's one of the easiest gwibers to get/farm :>
