I wouldn't suggest using ACT overlay on stream as people getting banned for it from recent SE crackdown. If you're streaming on twitch make sure it's not shown and you can also make act separate sound channel from stream and mute it for callouts.

3-4 years later, this video is still helpful. My ACT broke and I couldn't remember what I did to make it work. 12:46 basically it was THIS simple setting for my cactbot/Yukkuri Lol

Is there a reason why my Kagerou isnt working? Like im running 0.8.13 viator in vitro but anytime im in combat or anything, nothing changes. No dps or healing, anything

Great guide! But for some reason a lot of triggers don't work. I set everything exactly like you did in your video. I've been using cactbot for a few days now and all trials and normal raids work, but Savage and Ultimate "UCoB" only work a few triggers like Twister or Hatch. any idea ? :)

Click show more from description to come to discord, I can help you over voice-call it's faster that way. But if you don't want I think your problem might be with ACT, try updating it to latest version and also ingame chat settings turn on the announcent on BOTH General and Combat Logs and try to see if that helps (I have a theory that it actually has to be visible on the chat so it reads it, if its only on Battle/Combat log and you're on general chat it can't read it). Another thing you can do if you haven't already try to change cactbot Nael quote to TEXT AND TTS (Text and Sound don't work as far as I know). Thank you for watching my guide! hope this helps :)

make sure to add the program to your antivirus/defender exception list and run it as admin, that might help

Normally FFXIV doesn't allow these sort of plugins and overlays, but afaik if you don't speak about it or show it on a stream you should be fine.

It's your computer. Do what you want with it. Square Enix has no legal jurisdiction over what you run on it. However, they can ban you from the game if they detect that you're using it.
