Overall studying movement tech can be summed up under an hour if you count some bubble skating. Movement tech is some of my favorite things to do and Destiny brings it in waves.

I forget a lot of times about the jump height increase from not doing quick taps, which might seem miniscule at first until you think back about all the times you fell just short of a ledge where it could have saved you. Solid guide my dude!

Hey, amazing video and really appreciate the thought put into it, one more movement tech for hunters though that you forgot to mention was bakris launching. it’s pretty niche but you launch off of a surface into an angled wall and it will give you some decent momentum, maybe take a look into it? thanks for the video man

You kinda covered it in the jumping section by mentioning low ceilings, but bumping your head on a ceiling while jumping gives you a speedboost, you also put a clip of grappling a rocket in the moving objects grapple section but you can also do it with lumina and winterbite, hope this helps! :)

Notice: infinite grapple has been patched. yo u can still stay in the air a while so you might be able to regen with 100 discipline, but it is much slower than before

I don’t know if this is old but I was playing and accidentally glitched my slide. By sliding, holding aim, and sprinting right away u slid without crouching or going down. It also doesn’t use ur dodge

ur mid air jump also cancels ur grappling...this let'S you go way faster and way higher when infinitly grappling in the air...you can skip every jumping part in the game but it is bugged with stompes...having stompees equiped removes the upwards momentum from the jump while infinit grappling...important to know would be, that using blink after shaterdive gives you a big upwards momentum when looking upwards when blinking

You can shatterskate with any sword albeit it isn't very practical, its still a bit more horizontal movement than a regular jump albeit I can't think of any content in the game where you'd need that little extra movement on the initial leap that you can't just... switch to stompees instead... It still transferred a good bit of horizontal movement to anything you bonked into which is funny to surprise your raiding buddies since they'd normally only expect it from a sword with eager edge, not fucking Lament lol

9:54 you dont need 2 full grenade charges for this. If you have one charge and you grapple, canceling immediately will refund most of your energy. So having 1 full charge and about 15-25% of the second is enough if you cancel the grapple fast enough

Maybe might need to do some digging but there is a glaive + bakris skate aswell

Man Ive been trying to get shatter skating down but I cant seem to execute the timing right. Do I want to jump and shatter dive at the same time or just before?

jump just before the shatter i play on controller, and i just quickly slide my thumb from X/A to Circle/B after the heavy swing (also changed my controls to not require a double press of the button for shatter)

8:45 if you've ever played titanfall, jus pretend it's that for a few seconds
