correct me if im wrong but I think hojo's experiment that time at nibelheim on him and zack resulted on copying zack's abilities as well as recent memories unto him. plus i remember hojo also saying that one of them is immune to jenova cell and the other being a perfect host. again correct me if im wrong coz this was from back when played CC couple of years ago.

@@ygnizemcenia6059 No it doesn't. Hojo's experiment was just injecting S cell into the captives trying to replicate another Sephiroth. And Cloud and Zack are not the only ones being captured in Nibelheim, there are others known as the clones of Sephiroth, none of them possessed Zack's memories either. If anything it should be Sephiroth's memories being influenced into others. Zack being a SOLDIER somehow able to resist the influence of the S cell and hence able to break free. Cloud simply messed up his own memory due to the sudden trauma he went through by losing his best friend and hometown all at the same time.

I noticed that because I've seen some video games and action movies where the heroes shoot a window first to crack it, then jump through. The first example that came to mind for me was the video game "The Bourne Conspiracy" when Jason Bourne puts three bullets through a train window, then swings into it to crash through.

Yeah, it was incredibly realistic how he threw a sword that's bigger than him fast enough to crack a pane of armored glass, then drove a motorcycle through it and caught his sword mid-air before landing on the highway below.

RandomUser true I never played Crisis Core but I do know the story of Zack. I can see what you mean since he appears towards at the end of the game with no much context.

God, that music cue when he first appears with the motorcycle is just pure amazing injected straight into my veins

I just noticed that when cloud arrives and everybody starts fighting, Barret walks in front of Aerith and that brief moment she's obscured is used to spawn her staff in out of nowhere. That's pretty clever.

There are a few very brief times where you can control Aerith, one of them being in the sewer when you need to pressurize a pump to blow out a blockage. During that time (might actually be the only time) you can hit square to melee with her staff for box breaking. It's collapsible and shortens down to about 2 feet or so. Small enough to hide behind your back, or at least to suspend your disbelief..

Roche is 3rd class SOLIDER. Cloud was never a SOLIDER - so this still does not explaine how he got his skills! If cloud got his skills only by watching Zack fight, then does that mean that Cloud has photographic memory or something like that?

If Cloud was able to learn and adapt faster then any other SOLIDER then he would have qualified for SOLIDER. But CLOUD Naver made SOLIDER so the questions remains... ​@@jaserjsk Even if Cloud didn't make it into SOLDIER, he was still trained in Shinra and became an infantryman. In the motorbike fighting minigame, there are Shinra infantrymen fighting Cloud on motorbikes, so it's not a stretch to say that SOLDIERs weren't the only ones who were taught to ride motorbikes. Cloud's fighting STRENGTH is augmented by mako infusion and Jenova cells. However, his fighting TECHNIQUE, is adopted from his memories of Zach and powered by the sheer force of PTSD. Cloud had been friends with Zach for nearly two years in the Shinra army (+5 if you wanna include their escape from Hojo's lab), so it's possible he has picked up a thing or two from Zach before his mind decided that Zach never existed and that he was the SOLDIER instead. Not even that, it's speculated that Cloud had the physical capabilities to make it into SOLDIER before he even had mako infused into him, but psychologically he would not be able to resist the mind/body control from the implanted Jenova cells (and this has proved to be the case over and over again, with Cloud's constant mind spasms and the fact that Sephiroph was able to make Cloud hand over the black materia against his will).

Cloud can jump really high in cutscenes

That's alot of moist seats

and then the reprise of the opening notes/mako sparkles from the bike as he crashes through the window in slow motion. of all the melodies they could have picked to give the "epic fanfare" treatment, it's perfect. it's the production is triumphant, and the melody feels just a little magical, which this moment is (especially for anyone who experienced the original so long ago)

The fact that Cloud pulled a Roche is amazing to me 😆

@@Cliffem82 Quarantine has been rough for us all bud, I forgive you for being a bit on edge. Just remember that not all of us had the capabilities to play the original back in the day. I was literally 4 in 1997 and grew up in a nongamer household. I was lucky we had an snes that got me into gaming to begin with lol I actually started playing the original after playing the remake and I love the original so far. I cannot wait to see what they do with the remake. P.s. Ironically I played Dirge of Cerberus on my ps2 back in the day though and it is still one of my favorite games, made me love this cast of characters before I knew them. Keep on keeping on my friend, hope all is doing better for you now.

This scene was lifted from the original. Its one of the most iconic moments from the og game. He carries around a sword thats bigger and thicker than your mom, and applies so much hair product to keep his spikes looking all fresh and clean, he's a show off, always have been... and we've loved him for it for the past 20+ years.
