I like my Knight stacked with evasion, low faith, and immune to status effects. Then she builds up PA via Accumulate then when she's ready, she slays everyone. In cases where i don't have a cape equipped, then i hug corners so my back isn't exposed.

My Knight build. Throwing Math Skill on anyone breaks them more than Battle Skill. A pun. I went with Draw Out as many other characters utilize Math Skill better in my roster. Knight Kelin Brave 97 Faith 03 Battle Skill Draw Out Blade Grasp Maintenance Move + 3 Chaos Blade Genji Shield Genji Helmet Genji Armor Genji Gauntlet Still tough on the A.I. A Punch Art and Martial Arts build makes him nearly invincible.

I may have missed it, do you address gender as well? As in, if you're going to run a knight, I think male knights tend to be preferred as they have higher PA, and female Knight's higher MA has no real benefit. Some other classes there are pros and cons depending on gender with the MA vs PA focus, gender specific equipment, etc. Looking forward to more content!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by, and posing a great question! I failed to mention that female units start with higher MP/MA raw stats than male units who start with higher HP/PA in the Super Stats video, so I left that detail in the description as a band-aid. 😬 This gives male Knights a higher overall growth rate versus female Knights, as the initial growth bonuses for PA/HP as a Knight will confer a larger benefit for males at the start. It is not to say you can't have female melee fighters, it's that males get a head start to their PA growth.

Nature's Wrath counter to not need all that useless geomancy and increased attack boost with green beret/power garb to make Agrias playable? Of course it's better than this junk knight class, who is only good when you don't have stat boosting armor (ie chapter 1 monk), let alone rending weapons and speed (cuchulainn never gets another turn with a ninja double speed rend) is the only useful rends (which the vid didnt mention).

My favorite thing was always using Shield Break and then it being blocked by their shield lol. Uhh, hello? That's the thing I'm breaking, yet you're using it to block? Also, controversial opinion, Chemist is the best class in the game. Items are valuable throughout the whole game. Once you have guns, chemists are better than archers. Auto-Potion for survivability. Treasure hunter to get those uniques. Safeguard to keep them (or save scum :D). You might say that it requires a lot of JP to master, but uhh #1 JP Glitch if playing original and #2 all you need are the 3 potions and phoenix down, maybe ethers if you have mages. Auto-kill undead targets with a phoenix down. No dependence on faith stat or zodiac compatibility for healing and 100% accuracy so long as you have line of sight. Who needs increased damage when you can play the long game and just out heal the enemy for the entire battle; the longer the battle, the more xp/jp you gain too.

You can't refuse 🤣 or else I will stall you or mimic darlavon ad nauseum 💤 with higher success rates. Anybody can equip a gun to break those weapons, though I'd need the archer's concentration to be successful there.

Does Parry adds a second roll/chance of evading an incoming attack?

Good question, Rune. Parry does not give a second roll attempt at evasion, it only adds to the existing equation. Without Parry, the weapon evasion factor would be zero. 👍

However, this time I'm giving the Android version a try after so many years of ignoring the PSP WotL Mod (I even owe an original copy). I have another related question: Since Parry doesn't count as an extra roll. How about the rest forms of evasion, when evading the incoming attack type? Does C-Ev, S-Ev, or A-Ev stacks?.

@@rune9055 Good follow-up question! When dealing with physical attack only, W-Ev will factor into the equation alongside all other physical evasion for front and side attacks. While I think there are stronger reaction abilities like Shirahidori that do the same job without relying on equipment, Parry does offer that early-game extra 5-10% evasion rate when most attacks coming your way are physical.
