Seeing how well Seifer does in a variety of different teams even with sub-optimal VC synergy makes me think that he's gonna be a crucial part of a future warrior/knight mixed comp. They have the VCs so it's just a matter of units at this point.

Great info as always KT ! Thank you so much for sharing this…. Now about the rerun, I think they did good to Squall, as the main character he should be the best of all but he’s not lol. Got him the first time he came and now I will have the chance to use him again… About Seifer, I’m doubting if I should pull for him or not, idk yet I’ve seen how he works and although looks great I don’t see him a necessary to keep up! The VC tho I think I will give a shot cause this one looks interesting. I’m more interested in the new wind mage that came out and what summer will bring. Remember that last year we got Glaciela at the same time in both versions.

I agree. Seifer is good but not a must have for sure. The new wind mage is a lot stronger and we have the summer units coming real soon.

Fantastic work as always. Do you think Rinoa merits a full reincarnation for an earth player? Maybe on a team with Mont and Wrath, carrying dark golem.

No… we are in the next gen era, her kit is too one dimensional to compete. She is definitely going to perform better at max but I a next gen DPS with good self sustain would be better. Hold on to your FF8 mindspheres even if you don’t plan to pull for other FF8 characters, Edea will come in the next rerun and she could be earth.

It's just so much materials to get to +6 that I'm usually stuck at +3. I just can't spend 8 hours a day playing this game to get +6

You can try background farming. It works on the boss stages too .

What do you think about Seifer and how he does vs Shurecca and Gilgamesh? He has barrier break and heal power down but is he good into them?

He is definitely not on the same level as those two. Seifer is very useful against units with re-raise & barrier but his kit as a whole isn’t as strong as Gilgamesh & Shurecca.

I hope together with Edea, Laguna also comes but a wishful thinking on my part 😅 a huge fan of him, squall, and FF8 altogether, hope seifer comes home to me cheap.

Yes you can use the free visiore that you saved up. There are 3 different banners. Only one of those are paid only, you can use free visiore on the other 2.

is UR save the queen sword can be equipped with seifer?

No, Save the Queen is a great sword. Seifer uses regular sword like the blood sword etc.

Sadly, these units were already outdated by the time they came out, makes no sense at all, why should someone bother pulling for them at this point.

I don’t think so. He is a very strong DPS but not in the same tier as Gilgamesh, Ashen King, Shurecca & S. Jeume. He works well with Cloud & S. Jeume, it depends on what you on your current account.

Short answer: very good to have but not a must.

I'm confused for Squall at 4:31 - "If you don't already have him, _don't_ pull for him. He's still a great PvE unit". That sounds like a DO pull??

No… not even if you have extra FF8 mindspheres laying around. Save them just in case Edea does come the next time FF8 comeback. Rinoa is still a serviceable support unit, she will be better if reincarnated. However, even if she is maxed, her kit just can’t compare to the next gen units.

If I’m being honest I’ll skip Seifer because he has no survival kit….im thinking of witch Edea more lol

Man I wish Seifer’s VC worked on greatsword users as well considering the unit himself works with AC Cloud and Spring Jeume 😢 might still be pulling for it tho Not sure about Seifer himself atp, haven’t heard much praises about him from the JP side so I’m assuming he’s not as gamebreaking as the previous next gen units :\ Big sadge for no Edea tho, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined 😂😭😂

Might just be me tho :\
