Price Correction: Timp Peak Comp listed at $5,999

Frankieeee! I sold the Pivot Shuttle LT and just got a 2023 Timp Peak. I knew I could rely on your channel to provide great content and feedback on all things eMTB. I've only taken it on one ride and had some pretty bad rattling going on in the battery area. Took it apart and tightened up a few things. Battery is nice and snug now. Hoping that fixes the problem and looking forward to a proper ride on the Timp Peak 🤙

Congrats mark! i rode the Ep801 version at sea otter and it was a very fun bike to ride! one of my favorites i test rode. The support team at ARi are top Notch! I'm sure they'll find a solution for the rattling

With the lower builds coming with such good suspension and brakes, it's a bit hard to justify upgrading to the higher builds. Only real difference between the 7k and 8k builds are the drive train and wheels. Even the dvo stuff in the 6k build is still top shelf. They are all a good value, but I don't know if the new sram drive train would be worth an extra $1000. Also, the 6k build does come with a smaller 504kwh battery. It's an extra $200 to upgrade to the larger 635kwh battery. All other builds do come with the larger battery.

Do you know if the timp peak uses the ep8 or ep801 (might be saying this slightly wrong). Thanks for the video :)! good stuff. Edit: sorry looks like others are asking this 2 :).

definitely more nimble! When I learned it was 170mm travel. i was thinking it's gonna be a bit sluggish like the norco range.. I was surprised by how easy it was to hop and pop on this bike

@@intertube1000 Check out the Scor too, it sounded like the Scor and Fezzari are some of the most nimble enduro ebikes out right now

Is there any reason why most manufacturers are sending out 23 builds with the EP 800 vs. the new 801? I would to know the overall weight of the Pro build

625 isn’t too bad imo. You still get good mileage out of it.

Comp is currently listed for $5,999 which looks like a hell of a deal.

I look at the top tube and the effective seat angle. That medium top tub is only 584, and the seat angle is steep at 78.7. On steep trails, I'm gonna feel like I'm going over the bars. A large is 613 top tube and with an aggressive seat tube angle. It puts me perfectly on steep trails. Reach matters, but go on more on top tube and seat angle. I can always put a short stem

@@Striveon247 iv heard more and more people going off of top tube now that seat tube angles have gotten so steep. At 6’1 iv always thought of 480 as my sweet spot. Might be time to reevaluate modern sizing.

Hi Kexin, 630 is a good standard these days. For a full fat powered nothing should be below 630wh

While it’s always nice to drool over new bikes I have the 2022 Levo expert and I think it is a great bike. Can’t own every bike and the Levo is the best I have ridden. Zero regrets except when I decide not to go riding.😂

Very tough choice, I went with the Levo because the sale on the Levo. But I would pick this the timp peak if there was no sale on the Levo

@@marklopez5267 yes, I have the stumpjumper jumper evo which is levo non ebike. I think the timp peak is the best bike I've tested. The bike jumps good, turns good, feels super lighter (feels lighter than my Kanevo sl which is in reality much lighter). Has more travel, wheelies easy. Best bike I ever had!

@grillob3 good to hear! I just sold a Pivot Shuttle LT that was a little big for me and bought a Timp Peak. I was surprised with how light the Timp Peak felt. My first ride wasn't the greatest tho as I experienced some major rattle coming from the battery area so that pretty much ruined the ride for me. Took the battery out and tightened up a few things so hoping that fixes the issue. Looking forward to a better experience on my 2nd ride!

No Fox, I'm out. There are several other bikes very comparable in spec and price.

Fox suspension is an option on all builds at checkout. Fezzari will build it however you’d like.
