This album’s “Dry and Dusty”, it definitely reminds me of the solo debut and one of the best tracks on Romantics!!!

No need to be arsey he was complimenting the song and Karin lol. I wonder what genre this track would be? Wikipedia shows synthpop but this doesn't sound much like idk enola gay. Suppose electronic covers lots of stuff. Great song. I love the new album it's excellent and a top 3 of 2023 for me guaranteed but the first fever ray album is a top 5 of all time. Plunge I never listen to in full - some good songs but it gives me a headache. Shaking the habitual is my preferred crazy experimental Karin release lol.

A person I know recently said she wants to be a warrior walking into the distance and she is also dying at the moment and in hospice. That's where the imagery and poetic lyrics took me. This is a beautiful moment for me to be reminded of that life passing unfortunately and that life is incredibly short. Thank you. You are such a talent. Never forget that. ❤

Among the waves of music that reach me every day, there will be this one song that becomes a new benchmark of perfection for the next years of my life. I have found it.

love this type of voice, like in the song Kandy. perfect.

This is an amazing track - it elevates electronic music to the level of a spiritual limit experience. What I love about Fever Ray’s music in general is that it makes me feel that it is possible to reclaim a sense of calm amidst chaos.

I can’t wait for this! I’m hoping a full video for tapping fingers will be done after this! Tapping Fingers and North are the two best tracks on the album in my opinion, and it deserves more than just a visualizer from Even it Out.

@@michaelfaithTapping Fingers is a masterpiece! After my first listen through the album when it was released I went back and put Tapping Fingers on a loop. I’ve never heard anything like it. The song simultaneously feels like falling madly in love and having your heart ripped out of your chest. I consider it the best song Karin has ever written for either Fever Ray or the Knife and feel it’s severely underappreciated.

In my book Psychic Witch, in one of the exercises for awakening clairaudience (psychic hearing) I recommend listening to a few different artists like Fever Ray for the exercise. I left a copy signed to Karin at a recent concert in Oakland with the merch person to give to Karin’s manager to give to them. I’m really hoping they got their copy, but have no idea.
