Treatment of fever with homeopathic medicines.Details on the use of Homeopathic medicines Arsenic Album , Belladonna, Bryonia, and Gelsemium for fever Treatment.
We will talk about the medicines in homeopathy that can be taken in initial stages to prevent further worsening of fever.
1.Aconite Napellus
The most important medicine is Aconite Napellus. I have used this medicine very frequently in my clinical practice and even tried on myself. It is a main medicine for initial strong symptoms of fever and cold. In case of first stage of inflammatory fever like when the throat irritation, pain starts there Aconite proves very effective. It is for first stage of fever. In most of the cases if it is taken at the right time then it stops fever right there.
2. Belladonna
Next important medicine is Belladonna. The main key indications for using it are inflammatory fever and redness. These are the two main indications around which all the symptoms of Belladonna revolve. Inflammatory fever means where inflammation is present, like swelling, redness, heat in throat. Belladonna is very effective for fever attending the inflammatory conditions in body, for example sore throat, sinusitis. Second main indication for using it is redness of skin. In case of fever redness of skin, red, flushed face is a very important indication to use Belladonna. Third main indication is very hot skin. In case of high fever Belladonna is very effective when inflammatory conditions are attended with high fever. Cold sensitivity is marked which means patient feels cold. Belladonna is most important medicine for fever after exposure to cold.
3. Arsenic Album
since the pandemic has started , one homeopathic medicine has become highly popular and that is Arsenic Album. Let’s know the indications based on which Arsenic Album can be used in fever. . The most important indication for using Arsenic Album is marked weakness. It is so marked that the patient can’t even go to bathroom from the bed. Weakness in fever is one main indication to use Arsenic Album. Second indication is anxiety and restlessness. Restlessness is very important indication to use Arsenic Album in fever. Third important symptom is periodicity means the fever comes and goes at a particular fixed time. Feeling thirsty during fever is a very common symptom. Arsenic Album is indicated when the thirst during fever is of a typical type where patient drink cold water in sips. If such sort of thirst comes in fever that too is very important indicative point to use Arsenic Album. Another main indication for using Arsenic Album is high fever, if fever is more than 101 to 102.
4. Bryonia Alba
One more homeopathic medicine which is very popular since this pandemic has spread is Bryonia Alba. Bryonia is another top grade homeopathic medicine to treat fever. The main indications to use it are - fever attended with chest symptoms - especially if pneumonia is developing. Dry cough with fever is one very important indication for using it. Also where pneumonia is developing it can be helpful.

5. Gelsemium
Lastly I would like to discuss about a very important medicine Gelsemium. Gelsemium is given when there are flu like symptoms commonly seen in fever or influenza (flu). It is effective when symptoms of flu like runny nose, sneezing, bodyaches and fever are present. Dullness, drowsiness and dizziness are next indicating symptoms. Shivering is also important indication to use Gelsemium. Bodyaches are commonly found if it is to be used. This was all about Gelsemium.
Now comes to the potency in which these medicines can be used. Although 30 C is a very safe potency for using these medicines but my advice is to consult your homeopathic doctor before using any of these medicine.

Sir, the only thing which limits the FINAL POPULARITY of homoeopathy is that there are no over the counter prescriptions available in market. Some complexity is kept (secret) and that keeps the field limited in access (Poor cannot go and buy as he gets a Coldarin or Disprin more easily than these EXCELLENT medicines). This is just a general feeling and nothing personal. Personally we respect this field and are getting honest services of a Good Homoeopathy Doctor in neighbourhood.

Actually there is no concept Over the counter availability. Homeopathy is 180 degree different. Only a very well qualified homeopath can prescribe.

There is nothing as effective as paracetamol or panadol...If u want quick relief then add paracetamol along with homeopathic remedies

Dr ur not doing videos on frequently, may be bcoz of ur busy schedule. Dr I am 59 yrs old having 33 yrs experience in the medical field. Since from 2014 I am having c/o degenerative oesteo arthritis, in 2014 I get it done mri scan, Dr's suggested for TKR, but I am interested, and I am taking homeopathic medicine given by MD homeopathy Dr's. Again just 4 months back I get it done mri, reports is synovitis with degenerative changes. But our old Dr's he shifted to BELGAUM, I unable to contact him regularly. I am not having any ailments like HTN, dm, and I am purely vegetarian, and till this date I am not having any bad habits. Plz suggest medicine if are willing. Dr Jagdish Senior Physician.
