Absolutely love festool, and I actually have all but 3 of the tools in the thumbnail. My only criticism is how long it takes the states to get the same tools that are already released in Europe. I wouldn't mind paying the shipping for it to come to America. At this point the best plan I've come up with is just to fly to Britain for a few days and buy what i need then fly back.

Battery lineup extremely underrated from festool. Has everything you need and really top quality. It’s slowly replaced all of my other battery tools

I'm an electrician. Bosch is my tool of choice. However, it's always impressive to see a carpenter or joiner with all the festool gear. Usually have great pride in their work.

Okay. While I enjoy Sedge’s energy at times, he makes it VERY difficult to follow along and actually learn how to use products because he thinks he’s doing some sort of sham-wow infomercial or an episode of Emeril Live. I just want to get a detailed look at the product, not sold a used car. Festool’s reputation is as solid as they come. It’s okay to tone it down in order to focus on what you’re actually talking about. He tried to do so much in this video I’m not sure if I learned anything and will have to watch it several more times just to learn how to set up my router. That kinda bummed me since he kept talking about how simple everything is supposed to be. I did not come away from this video feeling that way.

Festool is great but they are too expensive for most of the European market. All their tools are cheaper in the USA way cheaper and from my experience carpenters get paid a lot more in the states than they do anywhere in Europe. The majority of carpenters in Europe can justify the prices. Don’t believe me just ask them.

As a carpenter I absolutely love my Festool equipment , but I also like my Milwaukee tools as well, I have the same issue as @tomhammond89 but opposite, Milwaukee bring out something n it takes an age to come to uk But I can’t afford the flights 😂
