Festive Overture for Saxophone Quartet
Музыка
A spin on the powerful orchestral work. Dmitri Shostakovich originally wrote this overture to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia. Fun fact, he completed this work in just three days.

This is awesome!!
Superb arrangement of the piece! I would to hear it played by saxes.
Death to the altos at marking 4, 160 bpm, cutime, eight notes into sixteenth notes. I love the arrangement tho
no longer on musescore! Is there anyway I can get my hands on this piece??
Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! When all the four parts are simultaneously in homo rhythm in some parts it sounds like playing duplication of same copy of melody on both of the hands with addition of two more keys in between on foot-pumped harmonium. When one of you play in different rhythm and other three of you play in same rhythm at some parts it sounds like a saxophone soloist accompanied by an accordionist. When one of you play and other three of you keep silence at some parts the voice of each individual instruments (saxophone) is clearly understandable.
why is there a cracking noise everytime the soprano plays a middle c?
How can I get a copy of this please?
