Festival of Europe: Germany and Austria
In January 2023, European travel expert Rick Steves hosted a series of free, fun virtual events to inspire travelers to their next European adventure.
Rick is joined by Berlin-based guide Holger Zimmer for a virtual visit to Germany and Austria. We'll travel to Germany's Munich, Berlin, and Hamburg, then on to Bavaria's rocky peaks, fairy-tale Neuschwanstein Castle, and the medieval town of Rothenburg. In Austria, we'll tour the grand capital of Vienna and Mozart-crazy Salzburg, along with charming alpine villages and riverside Danube towns. And, we'll compare the Rick Steves tours that crisscross the region.

Just remember when speaking of current events in America that the extremes of BOTH sides of the aisle are a danger to our Republic. Both sides of the aisle have committed violence. The vast majority of folks are pretty centric, some leaning a bit left and done leaning a bit right. Please don’t ignore the violence on BOTH sides.
