Festival of Europe: The Netherlands and Belgium
In January 2023, European travel expert Rick Steves hosted a series of free, fun virtual events to inspire travelers to their next European adventure.
Rick and tour guide Nico Favoreel take you on a virtual visit to the Low Countries. From Amsterdam - with its dreamy canals, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh - we'll head into the oh-so-Dutch countryside for tulips, canals, and mighty dikes. In Belgium, medieval Ghent and Bruges come with canals, cobbles, waffles, and chocolates. Our Rick Steves tour goes beyond the pretty facades to better understand this fascinating region.

Very interesting thank you for everything
Liege is a good place to visit. I went to the Ardennes American Cemetery to visit the grave of my great uncle. Beautiful place and full of history. When I asked for directions on how to get to the cemetery, the Belgian woman gave me a big hug. I also loved the food and beer.

Is there a way to see the updated list of restaurants that Rick mentions in the video? I’m looking and trying to find it. I did not have the opportunity to watch the video the evening it aired so it might be only for those that registered.
