Hello, I installed Tiftuf Bermuda about 3 weeks ago. Did you scalp in the first season to lower HOC or wait til the following spring? I’m sitting at 1” currently but would prefer .75

I installed mine min-summer last year and left it at 1" for about two months. I lowered the height of cut just before it started to cool down. This year I started it at 1/2" and that is where I have been, but I may raise it to 3/4" when I do my sand leveling.

I went and bought some seaweed and kelp fertilizer and used it on the back yard. The grass looks great but now my gf who has a seafood allergy got a reaction from it and it also gave my dog a nasty rash. Are there anny other products that I could use instead, to get that dark green grass?

I have not heard of that happening before. So sorry to hear this. I would just go with a generic brand from home depot and make sure there is no seaweed and kelp added.

Can still see the Reminisce of tree stump - Ugh!! 😮
