Love this!! Great video.....very cool trip. Such a pretty airplane. My friend Don Helmick had a 1938 24-K that I got to fly a bit years ago....what a sweet airplane! Luxury!!

Wow those mountains were amazing! It's funny how things like that happens. You guys pull into the middle of nowhere and two guys show up to offer a ride to town. This has been a great adventure thanks for bringing me along with you.

Great video Dewey. The complexity of flying through those mountains is crazy. Loved all the scenery too plus those camera angles in the hangar.

Haven't been able to fly at all this year yet, the weather here in PA hasn't been too good lately. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. Wish I was there with you.

You have us hanging on like an adventure serial! My first RC model was a Fairchild 24R.

I had a very similar visit in Fort Dodge. Bought my Cherokee 180 just north of Sioux Falls and flew to Fort Dodge late that afternoon. David the airport manager took me to the motel and picked me up the next AM. Continued on to Bowling Green and from there home to north Georgia. The Fairchild is simply beautiful. What a wonderful journey.

Hello Michael, I have been doing really good since Covid. I have been very strict on eating healthy and doing some physical activities and a lot of flying.
