Flying Across the Country in Vintage Aircraft
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
My friend Andrew King and I flew two vintage antique aircraft across the country together. I was flying a Ryan PT 22 and he was flying a Great Lakes Biplane. We are two barnstormers of the 21st century that enjoy sharing neat antiques. Follow our journey as we start this day off in El Paso and end our day in Lake Havasu. We had to divert to another airport so we could get fuel for the next day.

@@DeweyDavenport I don't know how you make such fabulous shots whilst hand flying an antique. I gave up fiddling with GoPros in the Husky fearing my sequence would become "GoProvate, aggravate, aviate" and get behind the airplane.

As always, it was a terrific video. Watching this gets the juices flowing for some cross country work in my L2 this year. Keep the videos coming! Blue skies!
Wow, what a stunningly gorgeous day and grand adventure. Definitely making me want to take a longer trip in our 182! Maybe KTRK to KSEZ in March - husband's next vacation!
Wow what incredible views! I've actually got old pictures from when the 747 landed here at WPAFB with the Space Shuttle piggy backed on it. As always thanks for sharing these videos with us all.
Great video! Looks like so much fun. Are/were you both airline pilots?
He's not a davenport. And I remember that same plane ....... So how's Ronald and how's Ron and Dave UT summer wells......
Dewey, quick question about private jets, if you don’t mind. Why does the challenger 300/350 out sale the Gulfstream G280?
