This video is about the steam engine turntable at Ferryhill in Aberdeen, Scotland. The turntable was renovated and commissioned by THE FERRYHILL RAILWAY HERITAGE TRUST.
The trust has open days periodically so that the public can view the turntable in operation. The Ferryhill railway depot is situated adjacent to one of Aberdeen's well known parks - The Duthie Park. It is so well hidden, visitors to the park would not know that this relic of the steam age still existed on its doorstep.
