Ferreting a large warren what can be rare today using my half micro ferrets & my young Lurcher.

Thankyou mate. you can’t make out on the video how big this warren actually is, my 150yard long net didn’t touch it. 👍🏻

Yeah mate I have, reason i did this was to bring him on so he could see alot more action and have no distractions around him. this time last week he wasn’t even chasing, so he’s coming on brilliant for his age. got some good videos coming soon. Thankyou for subscribing buddy.

A massive warren .. Hard work for you and the dog 🐕 .. But a lot of credit .. don't think I'd attempt it by myself 👍

The holes are too close together to take a dog , once the rabbit has bolted and been chased by the dog and dog misses that rabbit is not bolting again causing you to dig to the ferret plus the dog gets frustrated. There are some places that look like a ferreting dream and then turn out to be very problematic i would stick to the smaller warrens

I disagree completely with this comment... each to there own opinion obviously... but I've watched your other videos and watched how you have brought nip on from a pup. A big warren with lots of holes close together yes... but fair play to you & Nip for working it. I disagree with the frustrating the dog comment... a smart dog is just going to learn and take knowledge from each experience like this. Crack on mate is what I say

I usually just ignore stupid comments mate. never had any older dogs for nip to watch or work with he’s done it him self working on the job. the warren was simply just for him to see lots of rabbits bolting to bring him on more that’s like second time he’s ever been out on this video. wasn’t about catching 50 rabbits was just a training session and thought I’d make a video. he’s doing brilliant it’s all experience for him and me. thankyou mate 👍🏻

Does more work running around our garden than he did on this day. he chased a total of 6 rabbits.
