No, the F430 uses rubber timing belts, the 458 and F136 are the first of the Ferrari produced engines that are chain driven.

This couldn’t of looked anymore confusing. I want to get a vehicle with this engine but I doubt I could work on it which is a deal breaker. Not only that, it I can’t find engine parts for this thing. Update: I now own the car with this engine… lol. I got a 3 year warranty though.

actually, this one requires no special tool (for this engine). this method should work for every engine, too, but it's very hard
