@@CLSTRN911 the 765 is literally a 720 with a remap, straight-line speed wise of course. And the 720 came out in 2017, as did the 720S, a few months before the 488 Pista upon which the F8 is based.

Another great drag race vid! How about adding the Bhp/ton into the spec readout? I think that would be a good addition to the specs

The 765LT is eating a lot of cars for breakfast, lunch, and dinner it's amazing how fast that car truly is.

It's not that the F8 is slow it's that the RS is weirdly fast, we all know the McLaren is alien fast

I've owned a few Porsches and I've always been amazed at the way they drive. And the seats are so comfortable that you can drive for 12 hours straight in one without getting a sore butt.

It is though.That’s the entry level Ferrari supercar. The GT2 RS is the fastest Porsche around and the Mclaren is the fastest thing they produce right now. The SF90 is more like a competitor to the 765 (which should actually be called the 865 since that’s more similar to its real power)

This goes to my top 3 drag races of 2021

They're all winners in my eyes. When McLaren says 765hp, they mean that as a bare minimum, it's likely more than 800. The Porsche is half a gen behind, but their drivetrains are so capable that it's worth an extra 50hp with a bonus of phenomenal traction. And that Ferrari is a base spec vs two track spec cars yet it didn't exactly embarass itself.

Some things to think about: both the 765LT and the GT2RS have huge amounts of aero (and thus drag), so their performance against the F8 has to be well-respected. But, as much as I love all three cars, it has to be the F8 for me personally. The 765LT and GT2RS are heavily compromised vehicles. Both are exceptional around a track and offer better pure driver experiences - but the F8 costs less than either of them and manages to keep up well considering it maintains daily driveability. You wouldn't hate yourself after 2 hours of driving down British roads in the F8 unlike the other 2 cars, and yet it will still perform the way that you want it to when you decide to have a bit of fun. It just about loses to 2 of the most extreme vehicles produced by 2 very reputable and competent car brands - but will just about beat everything else. It's so well-rounded and lacks any serious flaws, that is something that you just have to applaud Ferrari for. The only complaint with the F8 would be its aluminium chasis - but the fact that it is still able to compete with the best of the best despite its almost ancient platform just inspires even more awe. Best CAR in modern times - by far.

Porsche always amazes me. Brilliant engineering and great cars.

Quick suggestion, can you please put go-pro cameras in other cars to record speedometer, that would be quite good to see also. Other than that, you are absolute legends, love watching drag races but also normal car reviews, keep it up!

It’s ran a 9.3 on the strip! The fastest nine electric car on the planet over that distance! Thus runway has awful grip and it was cold.

You should have done the Sf90 in this race instead of the F8 the race would have been a lot closer of a race. But any ways good content as always.

Sf90 vs laferrari vs p1 vs 765lt vs 918 vs gt2rs vs chiron vs rimac nevera vs Tesla model s plaid vs rb7 f1 drag race and ultimate track battle I know it's a lot to ask but I think you can do it Matt

The gt2 is an amazing car. It’s basically a a heavy sports car with extra aero to slow it down. Amazing

You can't race the F8 in sport, car runs lower boost and makes less power..... RTFM... :)

Finally! I've been waiting for this drag race for so long and boy was it worth it all three of those cars are incredible and did a good job I feel like in the future you need to go back a few generations and drag race a Ferrari 458 Italia vs McLaren MP4-12c vs Porsche 911 GT2 RS (997).

We need Nabil in every video, he is a lovely guy

I'd like to see Mat reviewing a Fiat Tipo/Egea or Dodge Neon
