Ferrari F2004 Screams Around Silverstone - 3.0L F1 V10 Sound

Here is the first video from the very recent Ferrari Racing Days which I attended on September 2-3. Alongside the Ferrari Challenge UK championship and FXX programs, there were 6 Ferrari Formula 1 cars at Silverstone. This video is dedicated to my absolute favourite of the F1 cars present, the legendary Ferrari F2004, famous for being the car which would bring Michael Schumacher to his 7th and final world title, and also famous for the absolutely brilliant and ear piercing scream the 3.0L V10 engine produces. I have never seen a V10 Formula 1 car of this period actually revving to it's fullest, and it is an incredible noise.
This specific F2004, is chassis 240, driven by Rubens Barrichello in the 2004 F1 season. This particular chassis won the 2004 Italian and Chinese Grand Prix.
I only realised once I was reviewing all of my footage that I had accidentally turned on Powered IS, which is not very effective on my camcorder and annoyingly caused a bunch of strange jitters and shakes in a lot of clips. So sorry for that.

Man I miss these cars... Thankfully these kinds of events still run them so we can feel the nostalgia :)

I was at the 2004 British GP. These things rocketing towards Copse was something else.

I can only imagine the sound of around 20 of them belting down the start-finish straight.. So jealous 😅

@@MP9-0 for the race we sat at exit of Club. For qualifying it was Copse. The noises were all quite different. The 2004 Ferrari has a very harsh exhaust tone compared to the Honda and BMW. The Honda in particular was significantly louder than the Ferrari. Especially on upshifts. Like a rifle being fired and shook your chest.

Thank God for F1 Clienti. We can still hear proper F1 sounds Lol @ 7:13 the Ferrari V8 sounds like a Chinese knockoff

This event was called the Ferrari Racing days. Included was the Ferrari Challenge UK race weekend which I believe happens annually, and then also the F1 Clienti and FXX program. I’m not sure when the F1 cars and FXX will next come to Silverstone, but you check the Ferrari website to see the 2024 calendar, and if you can make it to any other tracks!
