exactly what i was thinking.

My wife did something similar for our wedding anniversary in 2003. She rented a Porsche for the weekend in Adelaide. Something I will never forget, as it was the last anniversary we had, having some fantastic memorable times, while she had her health. In March 2004 she was told she had ovarian cancer and lost the battle in 2006. Thanks Babe! This Saturday coming would have been our 40th.

im buying my dad a 71 mach 1 with my moms life insurance money. he sold his to buy wedding rings for her. so when she passes he gets his car back. its sad and sucks but its what she wants to be done. i saw one restored for around 18k

i remembered when my father received a shirt from my brother when he got his first job..i overheard my father said to my mother " so this is how it feel wearing a shirt your son gives you." and that is just for a freaking shirt! I feel sad now.. :(

At first I thought it was some rich kid recieving a Ferrari for his 18th like the show on MTV. I prepared for the butthurt. But then I saw that's it the son who makes a gift for his father. Now it turns things around because the parent is a much more eligble target for such a gift rather than some spoiled kid. I just wish I could do something like this for my parents..

Growing up my parents didn't have much money and they would give us things like new shirts and pants every year while theirs would be like 10 years old. They would give us candy and not have any so we could have it. They put me in so many sports even though they couldn't really afford it but found a way. Just so many things. Now that I'm starting to become an adult I can't wait to buy them things, take them on trips and just do nice things for them. Now that I'm working and paying many bills I see just how difficult things are and how selfless they are. It's not just money it's that they were always so encouraging and spent so much time with me.

I always got 2 jobs. paid college for my two kids . bought them cars for transportation. Never ask nothing in return. for my birthday just received a greeting card .
