The Ferrari 512 BBi is in itself a special car, but some are more special than others.
This fuel-injected 4.9L flat-12 animal is not just one of the prettiest Ferraris in modern history. It’s also exceptionally rare, being just one of 42 RHD examples. But not only that - this is the official UK press car, which means it appeared in all the finest motoring magazines at the time. And it’s ours for the day.

Wow Damian I really needed this, totally inspiration to jump back into my rebuild next week. Ive never actually driven a BBi and been many years since Ive seen one on the road. Clive's is a stunning example and I hope one day to have this thrilling experience with my white one. Cheers

You need to buy one now… I’ve not seen you look this happy in any car other than your F40! Boxers are one of the most undervalued Ferraris out there… the last properly hand made Ferrari. I love my 512 BBi!!

The best part about Saturday morning in Melbourne is seeing the notification to another Car Guys video. Damien has pulled a rabbit 🐇 out of his hat this time. The 1st rhd 512 BBi. One of 42. And how excited is he.."just listen to it" he extols.. and what a sound it is. His enthusiasm is contagious. Such a cool car. 😎 Rocking the wrist jewellery Damien. Loving this series.
Absolutely gorgeous! For me, it's second only in the beauty stakes to the 288 GTO. This is what a Ferrari should look and sound like. Perfection!

A few other contenders but A Ferrari Boxer, any Boxer is arguably the coolest Ferrari of all. The original owner could have had a Countach but chose this instead. Countach is obviously an icon but the Boxer was much nicer to drive and just that bit more understated and elegant. Glorious indeed!
Damien i have found the book that you showed on the video , now it's going to make my library complete. It was a book that i cherish ,i love Ferrari's and that Ferrari boxer 512i is last of that type of car before the Testarossa ,i am glad that you got to drive it
