Philadelphia is beautiful. I got to do some sightseeing last year in a 26' U-Haul while on a cross-country trip on the Lincoln Highway.

Why don't you get on the Schuylkill Expressway on Sunday morning, then get off and head to Upper Gulph Road. Head north, then get on Skippack Pike heading west. It might be a much better drive.

I went to philly on a vacation... I would recommend normal car ground clearance and boat-like suspension. A crown victoria or Toyota Rav4 would work pretty well.

Philadelphia is not the only city in the world with such a big amount of traffic lights. I had been living in Dublin for about 4 years and I was surprised about their obsession for safety present in that country... Each single fuc*ing cross was accompanied with a traffic light, beatifull and really powerful cars all around and an horrible driving style. Mostly I was going around with a bike and my speed was higher than anything else in that place. That's simply a monument to the human stupidity!

I'm just curious what do you do for a living?

Enjoy the first few nails in your tires- it will happen. Also, Philly parking authority is a city sponsored gang that will ( I repeat) will shake you down (in the form of tickets)... Even if your meter still has time on it or if the meter is broke. Also, cabs... Enjoy the sudden braking for passengers and them not obeying traffic lights or rules. Oh Philly, how I don't miss thee.

If americans had more roundabouts they'd have less red lights, roundabouts are so much better than red lights. Also reintroduce jaywalking, so you don't have to wait 10 minutes for one person to cross the road. I can't understand how people drive in cities like LA, literally stopping every two seconds for traffic lights.

Dude try the main line outside of philly...ur ferrari wouldn't even stand out in gladwyne, haverford, brynmawr, wayne, or Radnor in general. P.S good road to "Open it up" on is Newtown road near newtown square and St Davids in Radnor.
