I have a Pyr and an Anatolian as herd guards with my goat herd. Every now and then, when the Anatolian isn't paying attention, the Pyr will jump up and bark loudly at nothing. The Anatolian will race over, face the same direction and start barking furiously. Meanwhile, the Pyr has laid back down, like nothing happened. The Anatolian goes on barking and barking, even though she has no idea what she's barking at. I think he does it just to wind her up. 😂

they are actually used as guard dogs for livestock lol despite looking like big fluff clouds 😂

My four legged brother sat next to mom for 16 + years . Friendliest dog you could ever meet . Just don’t touch mom . Heard a yell from downstairs was there in a flash . A salesman was sitting near mom she kept saying “ told you not to touch me “. His hand was in her sons mouth and he was begging to keep it , mom touched her son on the head and the salesman disappeared .

Exactly!!!! She is the sweetest, most gentle and patient dog I have ever known!! Yet, if she detects danger( in her eyes) she stands between me and said danger......even if it is her own brother Zeke!!! She takes her job seriously ☺️

Yes, Sometimes she does!! She has different barks for different occasions!!!!

I had a Ovcharka abotu the same body size and shape. She was my whole world for a long time. Her breeder contacted me after the original owners found out they couldn't handle that much dog. So I got her at 6 months, way late. But I trained with her every day and rehabilitated her for human interaction. Like the song says, most of all she was my best friend and she's gone too soon.

Oh, I am so sorry!! Our furry friends are definitely family members!! When they are gone it leaves a Huge Hole in our lives! Hope you get a new friend soon!!☺️

@@didsdesigns That's another sad story. When my Luna passed on, my elderly father was devastated. His first dog was a Scottish Terrier named Mac. So we found one and brought him home to Dad. He passed on only a few months later. So now I have my best pal MacMac, but I lost a lot to get here. I tell ya, my Dad was the absolute best. Heaven is a better place because he's in it.
