FErocious Ford Part 1 - Music City Trucks S3, E13

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We get hands-on with reviving our 1964 Ford F-350 Flatbed shop truck. With its iconic design, we're ready to bring it back to life and create some power with a new 445 cubic inch FE engine. This engine isn't just your typical old engine; it's been enhanced with a custom ground Comp hydraulic roller cam, Scat crankshaft, Eagle I-beam rods, and a whole lot more. We also install new Trick Flow FE heads, a Trick Flow Tunnel Wedge intake, and a FiTech Go-EFI dual quad setup for a grand total of 587 horsepower and 567-pound feet of torque! We're also upgrading the brake system and moving the fuel tank for safety and reliability. It's all about making improvements and making our beloved truck run smoother and better.

Making a guess, I'd say that 300 will sit along with the other 2 6's for another project or just as show pieces. As for them ignoring the first build, it wasn't so much being ignored, they didn't go into specifics, they have a history of ignoring personnel that have left the shows, so why not a project as well?

Is good to see that old Ford getting a new power plant. All though my heart is a little broken over the inline 6 moving on, it see a smile with a nice big V8 in it. I will always have a soft spot for those inline 6 engines from Ford, but my love is for pure V8 power baby.

What the hell is goin on with PN AGAIN??? Should have just stayed with that and used an NP540 5speed up behind it. The brake booster had a bracket that spaced it away from the firewall and placed the rod pivot point in the correct location. What not use a proper fuel tank for the application. At this point I am saying "step away from the truck before you screw it up even more". Jim Ford Highway 101 Rod and Custom
