I was there as an Ajax fan ❌❌❌ and thoroughly enjoyed the match, even though we went down 4-2. But the end score was not important and I am glad the Liverpool fans got the win. Most of all it was all for a good cause and to see Sven-Goran Eriksson fulfil his dream. Everybody had a good time for sure! YNWA

Yes exactly. A great send off for Sven (tho I do pray for a miracle to happen and he can survive even tho very unlikely) But also a send off for Liverpool legends at Anfield who never had a chance to have a proper send off like Torres, Agger, Cisse, Biscan etc.. Not to mention the Ajax Legends who probably had their last kick about in an Ajax shirt Really great & moving.

Same lost mine to both pancreatic and liver cancer a year ago, add clots to the rain and seeing him go from old but fit as a fiddle to an elderly man inside a week with strokes...... Made up for sven and his family absolute class from Liverpool. YNWA

Yeah, these game show us there're so much beautiful things in football, things we sometimes forget when we fight and banter each other through the season. That's why we fall in love with these sport in the beginning, it's beauty not the hates. Also these legends match remind us everything we argue now it'll be just become memories one day. He is naturally blonde, many people were blonde in their youth and their hair became darker. Just look at photos of him as a child to know that he was always blonde.@@lakedaemon

The 2 operations on same knee, one 2 months b4 WC2010 in which he shouldnt have played but I understand why he did, and the 2nd operation straight after the WC compromised speed and accuracy. Leaving LFC where he left his heart also did not help

Hopefully this game benefits Sven s health and well being . Such a shame but important to keep his chin up. He’s accomplished so much in his life.

I still remember 1999-2000 Serie A as the best club season I have ever watched. Sven's Lazio had players like Veron, Nesta, Mancini, Salas etc. but all other top teams were absolutely packed with superstars. Juventus had Zidane, Davids and Del Piero, AC Milan had Maldini, Shevchenko, Leonardo and Bierhoff, Inter had the original Ronaldo, Vieri, Baggio, Zamorano and Blanc, Fiorentina had Batistuta ands Rui Costa, Roma had Totti and Cafu, Parma had Crespo and Ortega, and even smaller teams such as Udinese were formidable.

Just a fantastic match and so many players so fit some of them fit enough to play in the prem or championship well done to one and all

Let's hope for a miracle that Sven fully recovered, great character. YNWA.

Torres along with R9 are the players that sadly never recovered from injury. But watching Torres in the reds again is such a joy!!
