I see a ton of comments about all of the errors he made this year and that he can’t be that good at SS because of them…he had left shoulder issues almost the entire year, which can very easily alter throwing accuracy. If you look at his game stats after he came back healthy (mostly) in August, he only had 2 fielding errors from Aug. 15th-Oct. 3rd and only one of them at SS. Once he’s fully healthy he’s gonna go back to being THE premier defensive SS and cut waaaayyyy down on the errors

@@mottohorn still a lot of baseball, I think his dad told him to use something medicinal to heal his wrist faster and his dad might've known it was a PED but I doubt a superstar like him would willingly take one when he knows he's getting physicals when he gets back

Pretty much all throwing errors. He has elite range, elite glove, and elite arm strength, but his throwing accuracy wasn't great. He's only 23 though, should get better with experience.

@@trxpzz6252 Are you forgetting he has Hosmer at his first basemen who's horrendous? Not to mention the 3 different dislocations in his shoulder he sustained? Both of those things impacted his defensive numbers, Tatis was given errors that should've been for Hosmer

After watching almost all Padre games Tatis's main problem is accurately throwing to first. He makes spectacular catches and he's got a cannon for an arm. He just needs to work on that and the errors will go down.
